Comfortable Stay and Great Location
I stayed at the Holiday Inn Taunton and had a very comfortable experience. The hotel is easy to access, just off the M5, which made it a convenient base for exploring Somerset or stopping over during a longer journey.
The room was clean and quiet, with everything I needed — a comfy bed, a good shower, and a desk area. Wi-Fi worked well, and I appreciated the tea/coffee station. While the decor is slightly dated in some areas, everything was well-maintained.
Staff were friendly, helpful, and professional from check-in to check-out. The breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold options, and the restaurant had a nice relaxed atmosphere in the evening too.

On check in, which was overlong, the staff said Trip.com do not make them aware of a third person staying in the room even though booking clearly stated this. They made up a bed for us immediately. Bed was small and uncomfortable, dipped in the middle. Breakfast was good

I was really worried that I would have a room further away. Lucky we had took next to each other and a door in between each room. So we can be close but separate at the same time. Booked here as my children love the vhooxe of breakfast!

Ideal location definitely recommend there lovely staff at check inn but awful nights sleep due to pipes in wall making loud noises also privacy issue as had people walking straight past my bedroom window so either had shut curtains in broad daylight or people looking at me laying on bed not Impressed

The hotel staff are friendly and accommodating, the room is clean, when I asked for chamomile tea he asked me to get it from reception and he gave me a few, I was very grateful . Breakfast is not that great, no tomato, mushroom or hash browns to compliment the saltiness of bacon. No cold water around but still good . The location is easy to find but a bit far from the town centre, I was expecting a nearer than that.

We stayed here for a party close by in centre of Taunton. Very convenient location, reasonably priced. Room was fairly small but had everything one needed. Remember to add you vehicle details if parking there
