I loved the design of this hotel, every element was carefully thought out and beautiful. Room was very comfortable, I slept really well. Staff were very friendly. It was a lovely little town as a base for a few days of winery visits. Highly recommend.

On arrival, the lovely staff welcomed us with wine and then arranged a delicious lunch on the beautiful patio. We were interested in going to a winery and Max walked us to the nearby Remierez de Ganuza winery where he arranged a private tour and tasting of some of the best wines in Rioja. Miren the sommelier was an excellent guide for our creative tasting menu dinner accompanied by wine pairings. The hotel was beautifully decorated, with a warm and charming environment, exceptional staff, and the room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. Overall, I highly recommend Palacio de Samaniego for an exceptional stay and experience.

An absolute top-shelf +5 star experience, from the personal attention by the Team(a high five to Max), the awsome designed rooms, the dinner and breakfast restaurant with a kitchen worthy of a Michelin Star & wine program honoring Rioja. A place for peace and quiet relaxation. We will be back.

Our stay at Palacio de Samaniego was wonderful. We were there with the family and 3 rooms for 2 nights. The place is very charming and tasteful. The Rothschild family has created a very special place. All rooms and bathrooms were very nice. The breakfast was exceptional. One evening we had dinner and the dinner menu was excellent. The service in the hotel is one of the best, we ever experienced. The place is located in the middle of vineyards and very close to explore some of the best wineries in the area.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Staff was lovely and helpful; rooms were comfortable and perfectly appointed. Decor and artwork were exceptional. The restaurant was also wonderful. Great location- private but convenient to everything. Highly recommend.

What a delightful way to spend a few days cosseted in the Palacio Di Samaniego. What a wonderful small boutique hotel overseen beautifully by Miren and with the stunning cooking by Bruno. We will be back again but don’t tell anyone!! The hotel has been carefully and thoughtfully decorated and is extremely comfortable with fantastic art work throughout.

Amazing historic redone building in a great location. Superb rooms, amazing food and impressive wine list. Unique breakfast. Service second to none. A stone’s throw from great wineries. Autumnal colours are really special at this time of the year.

This is undoubtedly one of the best hotels in Spain. The rooms are spacious and stunning, with every detail thoughtfully considered, including a delicious treat awaiting us each night at bedtime. The food in their restaurant is truly outstanding, easily rivalling Michelin-starred restaurants, and the breakfast was equally exceptional. The staff are so professional, warm and friendly, and incredibly attentive, every single member of staff, from the restaurant team to the delightful Filipa at reception, went above and beyond to accommodate our every need. This was our first stay at this charming boutique hotel, and it certainly won’t be our last. We’re already looking forward to returning to enjoy this wonderful experience again!

Absolutely fell in love with this small boutique hotel literally in the middle of nowhere. One of the most heavenly beds and pillows! Amazing interior, great food, and what was possibly the greatest shower on earth. ! Superb EVERYTHING! Each room/suite is the name of a grape, each room with its own wifi. Fabulous memories❤️
