I was greeted BT charming Pierre, and shown to the loft bedroom I'd chosen. The house is charmingly decorated. The WiFi didn't work straight away, but Pierre fixed it. Arriving on a December afternoon I didn't get the best of the view (in the dark), but it is spectacular. Pierre told me where to find restaurants - there is a good selection a short walk from the house. I took a short walk around town the next morning. I will go back and get a bit more time to appreciate it another time. Laon is a good stopping point when travelling to Germany or Southern Europe.

What is there not to like. A townhouse in the old town which has been decorated with what look like finds from brocante. Pierre is a most charming host and greets you with a smile. All the rooms are individually designed, the stairs are wonderfully creaky, the breakfast was bountiful, there is even a playroom for those of us who want to play with toys! We will certainly be visiting again on our way to and from the alps.

Endroit plus que parfait!!!!! Nous sommes tombés sous le charme de cette vieille bâtisse. Décoration de charme Accueil très chaleureux du propriétaire. Très bons conseils sur les restaurants du coin. Très bon petit déjeuner avec de très bons produits!!!! Pas de parking privatif.

une tres belle adresse pour passer une nuit en plein laon. decor roccoco, vintage, chine ds les brocantes style annee 50-60 parfois delicieusement kitch.... le tout avec un hote un peu lunaire echevele sympa cultive et hyper acceuillant. il faut taper le discut avec lui ... son epouse et sa fille a l avenant. chambre tres correctes sous les toits pour nous .calmes et propres. le ptit dej a. 10 e pantagruelique... ds une salle annee 1960 table bistro ... bref une bien belle adresse a ne pas rater a prix doux
