This hotel would be one of the best stops we have had on all our travels! Staff were amazing and the food is a gourmet paradise . The rest of the Netherlands needs to pay them a visit it is amazing. Rooms excellent location is excellent staff excellent and food excellent!

We booked the Zutphen City arrangement to great satisfaction. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted with coffee and a delicious pastry. Our room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The city center of Zutphen is walkable from the hotel and offers plenty of terraces and shopping possibilities. Upon return we enjoyed a 6-course fine dining. Staff is very friendly. The no-nonsense spirit of the owners - Marieke (Maître d'Hôtel) and Niels (Chef) - is reflecting on the team, who are very knowledgeable about all dishes, very service-minded, with the capacity to adjust customs in line with the guests. Michelin star potential!

Small hotel, connected to a restaurant. We found the rooms very cosy. Good work desk. Big tv, double bed (the boxspring in our room seemed to have passed his expiry date though) Great rain shower, and good bathroom, separate toilet. Small fridge in the room. Biggest disadvantage no own parking space, there s public paying parking (but max 4 hours) or parking at the nearby station. But overall a very nice, warm room in a quiet environment.

Excellent and beautiful hotel. Great restoration that stays true to period. Very clean. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The restaurant is fine dining with fixed price and chef choice. The location is great and centrally located.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and also ate in the restaurant. We had a deluxe room and it was very good! I travel a lot for work and am pretty demanding - this room had everything I wanted: nicely decorated with some of the old features of the monastery still visible, a super comfy bed; perfect shower, etc. We had the tasting menu in the restaurant and it was amazing! The flavours were exquisite and it was a feast for the eye as well. We live in London- for a similar experience we would have paid a lot more at home. Overall - top notch!

Wir hatten das Überraschungsmenü! Es war wundervoll, sehr besonders und vor allem vielfältig. Wir haben es sehr genossen, vor allem den Service durch den jungen Mitarbeiter, der auf Englisch und deutsch uns durch den Abend begleitet und mit dem Eiswagen den Ganzen die Krone aufgesetzt hat.

Beleving zoals het zou moeten zijn.hotel en restaurant met vrienden geboekt. Leuk ontvangst in een mooie ambiance. Zeer mooie, schone luxe kamer, helemaal in stijl. Diner top, verrassende creaties, verassende smaken. Zeer behulpzaam met de wijnkeuze. Ontbijt was ook verrassend. Complimenten!

Heerlijk 6 gangen diner in mooi restaurant. Echter het “upselling” tot 3x toe tijdens het diner is erg irritant. Kennis en advies over wijn kan beter. Geadviseerde dessertwijn over de top en too much bij het dessert. Verder wat gehaaste indruk bij vol restaurant waardoor het allemaal beetje kil blijft.
