The hotel itself absolutely great and beautiful but it was busy and the pool was busy and I got the worst room you can imagine did you was to the wall so be aware or you know the old rooms on the lower levels We have a bad views but we came here to answer on the price was reasonable and overall I would give the four stars to the stay

We arrived at the hotel before the check-in time 3pm but the room wasn’t available. So they just gave me the key cards and said they would send me a text of my room number when it’s ready. As I didn’t receive the text after an hour, I went back to the check in counter and needed to line up for 20mins to get my room number. After we got into the room around 4:45pm, we had to wait for another 25 mins to get our luggage delivered to our room. after we got changed and got to the pool around 5:25pm, the staff there just told us that the pool is closing at 5:50pm (it’s a bit strange as the bell boy who delivered our luggage to us suggested us visiting the pool as the weather was so nice but didn’t tell us that the pool was closing that soon). The pool is the main reason for us to choose the Palazzo and we were only able to spend less than half an hour there. my son was very disappointed about that. The room is spacious but cleanliness needs to be improved, e.g. the bedsheet was quite dirty and with little blood stein on it.

The hotel is very new, but the design is not as good as that of Vdara which has been around for ten years. The room is quite big, and the location is a bit remote, relatively close to the convention and exhibition center. The bed is a bit soft and the pillows are very soft. The hotel opened at the end of 2023. Many stores in the shopping mall on the second floor have not yet been renovated, but the good brands are relatively high-end. You can see the big ball if you stay in an odd-numbered room. The higher the room number, the more positive the direction.

Maybe majority of the hotel rooms are unoccupied. And therefore they don’t put all the amenities in each hotel room. Hotel room looks clean but can see dust already built up on the table. looks like no one live in there for sometime. Got kitchenette at the room. But no cup no dishes no pot. Hv to call housing keeping to bring it up. Also realise they don’t even hv a coffee machine. But too lazy to call house keeping anymore. Unsure whether the bedsheets hv been fully replaced from each stays. My husband got very itchy skin aft sleep on the bed for half an hr. End up I fully protect myself by worn 2 layers of clothes to slp on the bed and he has to slp on the couch. Agains the hotel does looks clean. But probably used by some rough travellers. The vanity inside bathroom. Water flow out very slow. Looks like someone hv throw up in the sink before and I still can see some sand n dirt on the surface of the sink. This is well below my expectation for a fairly new hotel. Too lazy to report this to the hotel since we only stay for a night and rush to leave nx day. We stayed on the 2nd week aft new year. Good thing is got upgrade to fountain side where we can see 1/3 of the fountain show. Location is a bit of long walk. Better stay at aria which can save at least 5 mins walk But Lesson learnt, no more nx time
Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas

I used to frequent this property when it was still the Mandarin Oriental. I have not returned since it was bought. I’m glad to say that the quality of accommodations and the level of service has been maintained. However, food and beverage is disappointing. Mandarin Oriental’s menu used to be full of variety and delightful Asian dishes. The menu now at Zen Cafe is very limited. In addition, it’s quite expensive for what it is. $18 for a cup of Miso soup is ridiculous! Room service is not what it used to be. The menu is, again, very limited. And the high delivery surcharge that used to be common during COVID is still being charged. Quite ridiculous!

Awesome place, was brand new and very clean, the rooms were very big as well. The receptionist gave great service. The hotel has Starbucks as well and have free water refill. Only thing is that the carpark is very far from the hotel lobby/lifts, so if you can afford you should get luggage service or valet. You also need to pay for parking, $10 per day.
