"Location ok if you want peace and quiet. No atmosphere- adults only. Rooms were nice and clean nothing special to say it’s 5 star. Church directly opposite our room. Ok if you want a 7am wake up call on a weekend- very loud bells. Only did bed and breakfast. Have had a lot better and a lot of the breakfast is chargeable"

"First and foremost, the hotel's facilities, cleanliness, food, and service all meet the standards of a good hotel. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Nikolaos, just a few minutes' walk from the port and the local center. There's no on-site parking, but valet parking is available (free, tipping is optional). Almost all water tours depart from the port next door, making this hotel incredibly convenient. The scenery is stunning. However, Nikolaos is located near the easternmost point of Crete, about an hour's drive from the popular city of Heraklion and about four hours from Chania. If you're coming from the west specifically to stay at this hotel, public transportation is time-consuming, taxis are expensive, and driving is simply too arduous."

"Daois Cove never fails to amaze me how they keep getting the experience and service so right. From pick up, to check in to the pool and restaurants. The staff work relentlessly to make things as perfect as they can be for your stay, and all with a smile. Coming back, having been before, you also recognise the same staff year on year which can't be the case for every resort and that family feel really comes through in everything the resort does. The food and wine are excellent. The beach and pool both great places to spend the day. It's hard to fault, and a place i will always think of and discuss with my family for an exceptional holiday we will always remember."

"My wife and I just returned from a 7night stay, and we loved it. The people working here, all the people, clearly understand that you get the basics right - and you work hard at that for sure - but then it's the little things that lift a hotel up to the next level. For example, we were arriving late and they had thought to have some nice fresh snacks in the fridge and a bottle of wine to welcome us. There is clearly a lot of work going on from housekeeping, to the care of the facilities, but it feels unobtrusive. I can't speak highly enough, and I do hope that we get the chance to stay here again."

"Great hotel, in a quiet location close to Agios Nikolaos. Stayed here with my wife (we are late 40s & 50) and parents (who are in their 80s). This is a great little hotel and the staff make it. The food is excellent and served in a beautiful setting overlooking the beautiful sandy beach and crystal blue sea. The staff really looked after us and went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible! Yamas!"

""A dreamlike hotel complex with genuine hospitality" One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. In April and early May, it was wonderfully quiet and relaxing. The entire team was exceptionally friendly, warm, and always ready to help. You immediately sense that genuine hospitality is practiced there. I particularly remember the blonde lady at reception, who was always very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic every day – varied, fresh, and delicious. My favorite spot was the beautiful lounge area around the bar. There, you could sit in a very elegant and relaxed atmosphere during the day and enjoy the breathtaking view of the sea. The staff there were also incredibly friendly."
