"We took advantage of one of Thermana's packages for a couples trip (the "time for the two of us" package), which included half-board (breakfast/dinner), a room for two nights, and unlimited access to the pools/saunas and other treatments. We were extremely and pleasantly impressed by the flawless experience from start to finish. I find many of the comments about "excessive" prices for what's not included to be harsh, but it's well known that in places like this (EVERYWHERE, not just in Slovenia) it works like this... in any case, the village of Laško is a 10-minute walk away, and you can find absolutely everything there. The criticism of the staff, however, was also excessive; we found them always helpful and attentive to everything. As for me, I would go back in a heartbeat."

Our best value accommodation on our 6 WK Eastern Europe tour. Opposite the Terme where you get a 20% discount on entry just for staying at Penzion Park. A lovely family spirit pervades the hotel and would highly recommend this great value hotel for position and peace & quiet."

A friendly resident cat roams the grounds and lounges, adding charm and warmth to the surroundings. The full-board dining experience is varied but only satisfactory. While there is ample variety, the dishes feel more like home-style cooking than refined, chef-driven cuisine. A more intimate à la carte dining option is available at additional cost for guests seeking a finer experience. The hotel’s setting in the Slovenian mountains is its greatest strength, with breathtaking views and numerous walking trails, some historically significant. Walks through nearby towns are peaceful and scenic, ideal for leisurely exploration. Overall, Hotel Sofijin Dvor offers a satisfactory stay best appreciated for its serene natural surroundings and solid wellness facilities rather than luxurious comfort or gourmet dining."
