Avi Resort & Casino

The service was great and everyone was friendly. Things were a bit pricey, and the location is very off grid from everywhere else so there isn’t much choice but to pay crazy prices. Downfall was going during the week, most of the good dining places were closed. The room was okay, the beds were pretty stiff, throughout our 3 days they couldn’t offer ANY extra blankets, only extra sheets. The tv in our two rooms had terrible reception, more than half the channels barely came in, in pieces and staticky. The aC worked great in the room. The arcade was good price and the kids loved that. The pool was awesome too.

The room’s carpet flooring was dusty, visible spots on the carpet and on the towels. Don’t expect much from the room. Service at check in was good and there were food options in the hotel.

Although the bed was comfortable. The room was filthy. We stayed in room 6907 on the river, but the windows were so dirty, you could not see out. Nothing had been wiped down in awhile; I could write on the bedside tables and lamps they were so dirty. The carpet and floor lamp was just as bad and the shower door had mold on it, not to mention the hair on shower wall before I got in. If you don't mind strong smells; the ****** allows smoking and they use a very strong deodorizer to reduce the cigarette smoke. The bathroom sink was clogged and the toilet barely flushed. The restaurant was nice and although we were rudely received by the receptionist; the waiter made our meal relaxing and enjoyable. I would recommend you stay somewhere else or bring cleaning supplies.

The hotel facilities are relatively old, but they are well maintained. The scenery outside the room is beautiful. The hotel facilities are complete. There is a smoking area. The service is very good. I will ask if you want free drinks. The restaurant service is also very satisfactory. The price is reasonable. The food delicious

I booked this hotel on my way to Las Vegas. The lobby is in the **. As soon as you enter the door, you can smell cigarettes and special smells. The room is nice and modern, and everything is ok.

Meh. Looks okay on the outside but don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Our first room had so many moths flying around in it we had to ask to be moved. Rooms very basic with outdated furniture. It’s weird because there are like four individual casinos inside but they are separately operated and don’t cash each others tickets. Check in desk hard to find. Very smoky. First night one out of six elevators working. Windows so dirty we could barely see through them. Pool overrun with unattended little Mexican kids. Two of our three pillows were like concrete. It is located on the River Walk, so that’s good. The staff was friendly enough, but too hard to overcome all the negative. Next we stay at Harrah’s for sure.
