Overall, the hotel is excellent. The staff are very warm and professional, and the food is abundant and delicious. The decor is grand and elegant. However, there are two minor drawbacks: 1. The carpets in the common areas are a bit old and look dirty. 2. When people walk around upstairs, the ceiling vibrates, causing the glass chandeliers to shake and make noise.

This is so far the best hotel I have ever stayed at in Switzerland. What impressed me most was its outstanding wellness facilities. The hotel features both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and the spa is truly exceptional—without exaggeration, I would rank it among the finest in the world. From the moment I checked in, the service was impeccable. A member of staff personally escorted me to my room and took the time to explain all the important features and facilities, making me feel genuinely welcomed and valued. One of the biggest surprises was the air conditioning. As many hotels in Europe do not have air conditioning, I was delighted to walk into a refreshingly cool room. It was the perfect welcome after a warm day. Even the room key reflected the hotel’s attention to detail. It felt elegant, luxurious, and substantial in my hand, giving a wonderful sense of quality before I had even entered my room. The hotel’s gardens are equally breathtaking. Sitting in the beautifully landscaped grounds, watching the sunset, admiring the colourful flowers, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings was a memorable experience in itself. Sometimes, those simple moments become the most beautiful memories. This hotel offers far more than luxurious accommodation—it creates an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Switzerland, and I sincerely hope to return again in the future.

The best hotel in Lausanne, full of history, several restaurants are excellent, and the lake view room has an unbeatable view. I especially recommend the hotel breakfast, which is healthy and delicious. They prepare a variety of delicacies for guests with special care, and it is open until 11 o'clock, so you can slowly enjoy breakfast and beautiful scenery.

As good as ever, definitely the number one hotel in Lausanne. It has no shortcomings except that it is expensive. Although the hotel is old, it is very well maintained and every detail is in place.
