Check In was interesting to say the least. No email or info at the hotel specifying that you had to go three’ish blocks down the road to check in. When we called to find out why there wasn’t anyone site we were met with an annoyed front desk associate. She unapologetically explained that we needed to come “here” assuming we knew where “here” was and when we asked where the additional hotel was located we were met with “you don’t know where that is”. Once in our room we noticed the carpets were extremely wet, we let that go and tried not to track our shoes through it since the carpet is light. Because our feet were wet, we went to the bathroom to dry off, however we noticed we didn’t have one towel. so we called over to the sister hotel since there’s no one on site here and we again met with zero apologies but a “there should be towels in your room”, when I said there weren’t she offered that we come over to the other hotel again as she didn’t know where any towels were at our hotel and/or couldn’t come to help (and that if we could wait until late morning the next day someone may be able to supply towels then, but no guarantee of when they’d come). I ended up going down stairs and opening cabinets until I found some towels hidden behind a door in the womens public restroom on the base level. I’m in the town of Palmer for work not leisure so not being about to shower before a business meeting is not ideal. There’s nothing quaint about this hotel, there’s zero customer service or amenities. The walls are thin and you can here everything. There’s a shared coffee pot and microwave upstairs in the hallway for those that need it and a cafe downstairs (not sure if it’s ever open). Id recommended driving a little further out if you can do book something nicer and/or book months in advance so you get a good place to stay.
