Druids Glen Resort

Absolutely amazing, the staff couldn't do enough, they went above and beyond, recommend. The weather was bad, so chilled for the rest of the day. The next day was cold and fresh, but some lovely walks around the grounds.. great location......

Enjoyed a 3 day stay mid summer. Checkin was quick friendly and Katie on reception was so helpful with evey little query. The foyer is beautiful so comfortable classic large stone fireplace and beautiful furniture. The room was perfect and spotlessly clean. Stunning large bathroom with l'occitane toiletries in plentiful supply. We had a Juliet balcony it was great in the evenings to have the fresh air and views over the golf course. Used the SPA for treatments pure joy reasonable priced and the therapeutic range very satisfactory. The Therapist was lovely and very knowledgeable and professional. We had good in the bar one night it’s very busy so make a reservation especially for a crowd. Food good but portions on the fish on the small size for the price. Amazing walk around the outskirts of the golf course and we walked from the hotel to the club house where the staff were really welcoming and even offered us a lift back to the hotel. The views are stunning. Breakfast was excellent great choice hot buffet but I had omelettes or eggs Benedict to order instead which was no problem and arrived quickly. Great selection of herbal teas and juices. Staff at breakfast were so helpful and friendly nothing was too much to ask for. Beautiful place for a few days I’m really looking forward to a return trip ideal spot for a winter break as there is loads to do on site.

Stayed here for birthday. Check in was quick. Room was lovely and comfortable. Had everything we needed. We ate in the Gardens room and bar. Was put sitting at a very low table but done the job. Waitress was nice and friendly. Food was lovely but found the menu limited. Would like more options on it bit more pasta and chicken goujons. The pavlova desserts were lovely. The desserts were expensive at 11.75 euro. Breakfast was poor for a 5 star hotel. Plenty of options. The hot buffet was cold as was the tea. Ordered poacked eggs they even came out cold to. Sunday morning the breakfast manager not sure of his name he asked did we order drinks or toast. We said no and we said tea and toast. He turned round to Freya I think her name is and said to her tea toast here. Really rude to her. She arrived over with it and I felt awful the way he spoke to her and I said to her your grand was no rush. She went down to clear a table below us and he was back with her. He came across as really unkind to his breakfast staff. We just shook our heads in disbelief. Got card and sweets and desserts in bedroom. Nice touch. Stayed here few times before and also 6 months ago was fabulous. I'd be reluctant to go again. Due to the price of it and the breakfast.

Excellent room, restaurant food was good. Service was veryy friendly, well meaning but generally hopeless. Much more training required of the waiting, bar staff and room staff. Room daily serving was a joke - no tissues, soap, toilet paper until requested. Gym and pool facilities were first class.

My partner and I stayed for her birthday weekend away. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and the hotel is beautiful. My partner has a facial which she really enjoyed while i used the pool facilities. The grounds are stunning and our room was beautiful too with a lovely comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

We had a lovely stay in Druids Glen for Texaco Art Competition.Staff are extremely nice especially Eimer who was more than helpful.I think it’s extremely good value for money and a lovely relaxing atmosphere.
