Our family was well taken care of and the hotel proved so well placed with proximity to lifts and all aminities in Lech for a relaxing family ski vacation. The pleasant afterski rounded up a good day after skiing and Dieter and the whole team made us feel very welcome and appreciated. Good food and wine in the restaurants and attentive and spirited staff with humor! Thank you again!"

"Our second stay here. We show up, “We don’t have your reservation” that’s for 7 days that we had paid a huge deposit on. Not a great way to start, they figured it out eventually looking at us like we’re crashing some exclusive enclave. OK fine, they give us a room down in a hole w no view at all, many thousands of dollars buys this? This concern/care as a returning client? I mean no view - looking a wall of snow. Sign on our door ‘do not disturb’ Valentine’s Day, knock knock, ‘do you want room made up?’ No, thats what the card on the door handle says - no offer of fresh towels. Full on tip fatigue after every purchase for 7 days and nights - I get it, I waited tables for years, but at this daily price? We won’t be returning."

"I would highly recommend Hotel Sonnenburg and a visit to Lech in the summer if you are looking for a break in a stunning picturesque setting, want to do lots of walking / hiking, cycling or swim in a forest pool. The staff at Hotel Sonnenburg were very professional and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The food was fantastic, an excellent wine list and the bedrooms and leisure facilities were of the highest quality. One of our most enjoyable holidays in a beautiful setting."

"My husband and I had a fabulous stay at the Hotel Arlberg for our first visit to Lech. The hotel is family run and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with excellent service. The half board program was delicious and very convenient, though we also had excellent meals on the terrace and at Stube. Location for skiing and walking around town could not be better and the hotel was extremely responsive to helping coordinate ski guides, transport to the hotel and area recommendations. We left the hotel with plans to come back again."

"Wonderful retracting place with love for the details- whether the quiet room with a great atmosphere,the beautiful stube with old details for a delicious breakfast by Mrs Milka,the fireplace in the entrance area or the loggia with cornerbank and view of the mountains. "From the moment we arrived at Severins Alpine Retreat, it was immediately clear that this was not just a luxury resort, but a place rooted in genuine warmth and hospitality. Even before stepping inside, we were greeted by staff who introduced themselves and welcomed us with such sincerity that it truly felt like coming home. Instead of a traditional front desk check-in, we were ushered into a beautiful living-room-like space with a crackling fire, invited to sit down, and offered a beverage of our choice. The check-in process felt relaxed, personal, and unhurried. Shortly after, the chef came out to introduce himself and brought a small snack he had created especially for us — an incredibly thoughtful and memorable touch. We were given a tour of the property, and with only two other families staying at the time, the experience felt wonderfully intimate and private. The spa facilities are exceptional, with multiple saunas, a beautiful pool, and peaceful spaces designed for true relaxation. I was even encouraged to take a later train on departure day so I could continue enjoying the spa and amenities after checkout, which speaks volumes about the level of care and flexibility offered. Dining at Severins was nothing short of exquisite. Having a dedicated table for the duration of the stay created a sense of comfort and belonging. Every dish was creative, beautifully presented, and full of surprising, well-balanced flavors. Ending the evening with homemade chocolates and sweets was the perfect final touch. What stood out most, however, was how the staff made me feel. Their kindness, attentiveness, and openness gave me a renewed sense of humanity and reminded me how powerful true hospitality can be. Marc, who was our primary point of contact, went above and beyond — including providing a hand-drawn map and personal recommendations when he learned I wanted to visit the Matterhorn. This stay was truly spectacular from start to finish and one I will never forget."
