Hotel Tannbergerhof im Zentrum Von Lech ★★★★
"What should have been a special evening turned into an absolute farce from start to finish. This hotel advertises two very different restaurants: an upscale dining room and a casual pub. We specifically booked the upscale restaurant through their own website, received confirmation, and dressed accordingly. Unfortunately, none of that mattered to the staff or management. Upon arrival, we were immediately brushed off by a waitress who after quickly scanning their reservation form, assumed we were reserved for the pub and then ushered us in that direction like confused walk-ins. Only after stopping another waiter and showing our reservation confirmation were we escorted back—clearly proving we had booked the upscale restaurant all along. That’s when things went from bad to unacceptable. The receptionist located our reservation but casually explained that their system often books people into the “wrong restaurant.” Despite acknowledging that our upscale reservation existed and was their error, we were told the upscale restaurant could not accommodate us and that we would have to eat at the pub instead. Naturally, we asked to cancel—since we were not being offered what we reserved—and requested assurance that we would not be charged the €200 no-show fee. The manager’s response was astonishingly hostile: eat at the pub or be charged €200. No apology. No accountability. Just a thinly veiled threat to pay for their mistake. Left with no real choice, we ate at the pub we never wanted to visit. The final insult? Nearly an hour wait for food that was mediocre at best—hardly compensation for being strong-armed into downgrading our entire evening. This establishment has mastered the art of overpromising, underdelivering, and punishing guests for its own incompetence. If you value your time, money, or dignity, do not trust their reservation system—and certainly don’t expect management to act in good faith when things go wrong. One of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had, not because of the food alone, but because of the utterly unacceptable treatment of paying guests."
Hotel Arlberg Lech ★★★★★
"Excellent service with staff that have clearly been well educated. Always attentive and do the little extra every time. Half-pension is great value with ambitious and high level kitchen. Doesn’t harm that the location is heavenly. We will be coming back every year."
Hotel der Berghof ★★★★
"Beautiful stylish hotel with excellent service - never obtrusive, but always there if you need it. Ollie and Fabian, the bartenders, are outstanding. Looking really forward to visit Lech and Der Berghof again."
Haus Schrofenstein ★★★
"We received a very friendly welcome, everything was clean, the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, great products, very extensive. The atmosphere was personal and familiar. Every guest was treated courteously and their wishes and concerns were taken into account."
Die AlpenRose ★★★★
"A perfect home where you are welcomed with worm , and this is the most valuable think we all want when we are traveling , Claudia and his family and all the staff are there to offer you the best experience , great food , nice rooms , sauna .... For those who are there to ski there is a public shuttle bus in front of the hotel , if you want to reach the center you have to walk for 15 min . Thanks for the beautiful days I had with you all . Anca"
Hotel Sonnenburg ★★★★★
"I would highly recommend Hotel Sonnenburg and a visit to Lech in the summer if you are looking for a break in a stunning picturesque setting, want to do lots of walking / hiking, cycling or swim in a forest pool. The staff at Hotel Sonnenburg were very professional and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The food was fantastic, an excellent wine list and the bedrooms and leisure facilities were of the highest quality. One of our most enjoyable holidays in a beautiful setting."
Hotel Sandhof ★★★★
"The hotel is very well situated in the centre of Lech, which itself is one of the jewels of the Arlberg skiing region. The staff are all thoroughly professional and respond to any request with a smile and friendliness. Our room, which was easy to reach with a lift or staircase, was excellent with good modern facilities and lots of space. As we were four people, we were able to be together with our 16 yo children, yet they were independent of us as there wasplenty of room. The beds were comfortable and the bed linen was changed every day. On a slightly negative note, there were few 'amenities' such as shampoo, etc. however they suddenly appeared after a few days, similarly we had read that there are no coffee or tea making facilities in the rooms, so we brought our own electric kettle. It would have been nice to have a pre-breakfast cup of tea in the morning or chocolate drink at night. Breakfasts at the Sandhof were superb with every juice, cooked eggs or cereal offered and quickly refilled when necessary. The chef was excellent. We ate dinner in various restaurants in Lech and one evening in the Sandhof for a fondue, cheese and meat. It was excellent too, as we expected. Coffee is well prepared, fresh and tasty. The apres ski in the other hotels are within a very short stroll away. The Sandhof in Lech, quality, professionalism and comfort are all byewords for this fine hotel."
Hinterwies – Ski in / Lodge / Dine ★★★★
"We stayed at this hotel for an unforgettable ski week. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by a super friendly staff that made us feel at home and this was usual every time we met them in the lobby. Rooms are very spacious with great views of the mountains. There is a T-bar lift just 20 mts from the hotel which is a plus. The hotel is located aprox 700 mts from Lech main street but walking has never been a pain (although you have to consider taking a taxi if you arrive at Lech in public transport). Breaksfast is really outstanding with many options both sweet and salad. There is a relax area for apres ski with both a sauna and steam bath but no jacuzzi. My only suggestion would be to offer a kettle with tea/coffee options in the room, but for the rest I would definetivley chose Hinterwies again."
Hotel Hubertus ★★★
"We felt very comfortable in this family-run hotel. Everything was perfect. The food was excellent and perfectly prepared. The breakfast buffet was more extensive than in most other hotels. The afternoon cake was always freshly prepared and delicious. The service staff was very friendly and always attentive to our needs, especially the hotel owner and his wife. The ski lifts and the town center of Lech are just a few minutes' walk away. If you don't want to carry your ski equipment every day (depending on the snow conditions), you can rent a ski and boot storage room at one of the lifts. The hotel is located on the edge of town and is in a very quiet location. In short, we would love to come back!"

Chalet Hohe Welt - Luxury Apartments
"Amazing location right on the slopes, incredible views and we absolutely adored having a private breakfast in our pyjamas while watching the sun rise! The appartments are beautifully designed and the spa with the heated outdoor pool are exceptional."
Hotel Gotthard
"This was our second stay at the hotel and we cannot recommend it highly enough. The rooms, food, service and spa factilities are all excellent. The cakes from the bakery and the beer brewed at the hotel are also not to be missed. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the many local ameneties Lech has to offer and there is a bus stop just outside. Thank you to the Walch family for another lovely holiday."
Lech Lodge - Legendary
"Our family had the opportunity to spend a week at the Lech Lodge in both January and March 2026. In January, just like the previous year, we stayed in the loft, which is absolutely wonderful in terms of size and coziness. We were 5 adults and 2 children, and everything was perfect. In March, we stayed at the Chalet Arlberg for the first time, which is also excellent for families as well as couples. We were a group of three for the first few days and then five (3 adults and 2 children). Our golden retriever accompanied us on both stays and is always very welcome at the Lodge. Both of our stays were once again wonderful. We had great weather, plenty of snow, and above all, we had Sabine and Slobi, who, just like in previous years, pampered us along with their team. We always love coming back to Lech. The reasons are the relatively short, stress-free drive (2.5 hours), the wonderful chalets at the Lodge, the ski area and the natural surroundings, the perfect setting for dogs, but especially the care provided by the owners, Johanna and Klaus Moosbrugger, and by Sabine and her team. We’re already looking forward to our next stay at the Lodge, likely next January."
