Hotel der Berghof

Hotel der Berghof

📍 Dorf 161, Lech
★★★★ 9.5 (43 reviews)

"I was so comfortable at Hotel Berghof, even when it was pouring rain outside. I loved the attention to detail everywhere - my room with a view, meals (dinner I expected to be great, but breakfast was a culinary delight too), the cozy lounge and cocktails, and flexible and warm staff. They even cleaned my muddy boots. Highly recommend!"

"We stayed here for one week during February. The service was great, especially the service from Majid. He was very kind and so helpful during our whole stay! The tea-time with him feels like coming home. We really enjoyed our entire stay here."

"Thank you very much for a lovely week at Tannbergerhof and Lech in general. Our family was well taken care of and the hotel proved so well placed with proximity to lifts and all aminities in Lech for a relaxing family ski vacation. The pleasant afterski rounded up a good day after skiing and Dieter and the whole team made us feel very welcome and appreciated. Good food and wine in the restaurants and attentive and spirited staff with humor! Thank you again!"

Hotel Arlberg Lech

Hotel Arlberg Lech

📍 Tannberg 187, Lech
★★★★★ 9.7 (42 reviews)

"Our stay at Hotel Arlberg Lech was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel consistently delivers an outstanding level of service, with a team that is genuinely friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Its central location in Lech makes it incredibly convenient, and the hotel itself is both an institution and a landmark in its own right. The facilities are superb and rival; if not surpass; those of many premium international hotel brands. As a family-run establishment, they should be immensely proud of what they have created. This was our second stay at Hotel Arlberg, and it certainly won’t be our last. We very much look forward to returning."

Hotel Sandhof

Hotel Sandhof

📍 Dorf 124, Lech
★★★★ 9.3 (38 reviews)

"We would highly recommend staying at the Hotel Sandhof. Customer service was top tier, food quality was spectacular, and the rooms were clean, spacious and well appointed. My husband, two children and I used it as a book end for a three night hut adventure; we stayed there the night before and two nights after. The staff was flexible with our arrival times and able to store our luggage while we hiked. We had a two room suite, which felt enormous for a European hotel. The bedding was cozy and the Wi-Fi strong. The food! Breakfasts were great, enough variety to please everyone (even my kids). We ate dinner there two nights as well. The portions were generous while maintaining a high level of deliciousness. They also have a kids pasta selection which was perfect. I won’t even get into the wine list, but I suggest taking the recommendation of the staff. They never steered us wrong. I’m sure there are other great hotels in Lech, but I would return here in a heartbeat."

"A wonderful holiday! From the moment we arrived we felt special and looked after. We were met at the door by the owner Michael who had our cases transported to our room. We were then warmly greeted by his lovely wife, Claudia and shown around. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were very helpful and friendly. Our room was on the top floor and had lovely views of Lech. Although it was quite small it had everything we needed and was immaculately cleaned every day. The food was magnificent! Every evening we had different food to try. It was all served to our table by the cheerful helpful staff. Breakfast was a buffet style with lots of choice. As we went with Inghams travel we also had a packed lunch each day which was great to take on our walks. We also enjoyed the cake that was served in the bar every afternoon! I enjoyed using the small pool and sauna after walking. We had recommendations about where to walk and tips about which places to stop for a rest/drink. The Lech card (part of the Inghams holiday ) was great and saved us lots of money when catching the local buses and cable cars. As this holiday was originally booked for July 2020 we had waited a long time for it. We weren't disappointed and came away with lots of lovely memories. Thank you Michael, Claudia and your fantastic staff! "

"I had a fantastic experience at Haus Schrofenstein. It is family run and the hosts couldn’t be more welcoming and accommodation. The hotel is excellent value for money. Rooms are large, clean, and have plenty of well thought out storage. Beds are comfy. Breakfast is simple but good - coffee fantastic. The hotel is a short walk to the lifts and town centre."

Hotel Tannbergerhof im Zentrum Von Lech ★★★★
"Absolute fantastic.. As a last minute walk in, nothing was a problem, so welcoming straight away, very helpful in every aspect. Everything spotless clean, organized, feeling homely and warm. Perfect lovely staff, waited / prepared breakfast buffet just for us fresh, free nibbles at the Sauna, nice tasteful decor everywhere, shown around the Hotel for future room options, helpful bar staff about nearby travel options, just a overall pleasant experience, yes, how it should be, but what is sometimes often missed. The little things, the attention towards all of us by staff and owners, Just very happy, pleasantly surprised about old school values of the hotel business still in use. Will definetly recommend and return if possible. A happy Australian Gold Coast Family."

"Fantastic hotel and wonderful hosts. We stayed for 1 week and had the best time. Claudia made us feel welcome, even before we arrived. Great communication and very accommodating - our late arrival didn't cause any issues. The rooms are big, nice bathrooms, the whole hotel is decorated in traditional and very tasteful style. Generous breakfast buffet and beautiful sauna facilities. We've already booked again for next year. Highly recommend!"

Hotel Sandhof ★★★★
"Guests come back to Sandhof year after year, and for good reason. This hotel has been run by proprietor Martin’s family since his grandparents started renting out rooms in the 1930s. Guests are treated warmly by Martin and his kind staff. We did the half board and were very happy that we did so. The food was delicious. More impressively to me as a wine lover, this small hotel has a massive wine selection. Martin lays down reds for years. We let him recommend a bottle every night, and the bottles varied between 2012 and 2003 … all for reasonable prices. Our family of 4 chose one of the apartments, and it we had enough room for us not to be on top of each other. Board games by the fire prior to dinner became our nightly routine. Last but not least, Sandhof is close to a Intersport for ski rental, the cable car up to Oberlech, and this little place locals seem to frequent for awesome pork belly sandwiches. Long story short, we’ve already booked our stay for next March and plan to be one of those families that returns year after year."

Haldenhof ★★★★
"An exceptional hotel in Lech - the reviews on Tripadvisor are spot on. The first thing that catches the eye is how absolutely clean and in excellent condition everything is, perhaps in part due to recent work and renovations but primarily because the team seems to take such good care of the facility. The brand new sitting room/bar is lovely and successfully blends the traditional chalet look with a more updated vibe. The spa also is completely new, with an attractive "vitality" pool (i.e., a pool with some jacuzzi jets and lights that change color), a sauna room with three private sauna suites and four relaxation alcoves. The primary dining room is white table cloth and attractive, with a small buffet area. Finally, the small lobby area is bright and attractive, with a large touch screen on which useful information can be obtained (such as the local ski map). ROOM: We stayed in room 10, a deluxe junior suite on the fourth of five floors. This room must have been just newly refinished as it was pristine (even the grouting in the bathroom was immaculate). The room consists of a primary bedroom and, separated by sliding doors, a sitting room with two couches that easily convert into double beds. There is also a nice balcony and a spacious bathroom (this room has shower only). Having caught glimpses of a few other rooms, they seem to vary somewhat in layout and decoration, but each room looked to be in tip top shape. FOOD: If I were to have a beef with the hotel, it would be with the food. Not because it wasn't well prepared and interesting - it was both - but because I just don't want to eat fancy, soft food night after night (so many reductions and gelatines and steamed vegetables) - it just felt at times like there was nothing for the teeth to grab on to. Worth noting that you could skip a dinner at the hotel and instead eat at one of the restaurants in the town, though of course that might not be desired by all members of your group - some might wish to eat at the hotel on any given night while others would wish a hearty stew! To satisfy everyone, it would be worth considering if, in addition to the two primary entree options offered each night, there might be a third more casual option (pasta bolognese, veal parmesan, small steak) with more home-style cooking than gourmet. It might also be nice to have two really excellent appetizers instead of three small ones and a salad and then soup each night. These are really minor gripes and reflect more my personal preference for hearty food over gourmet food every night, so you might find this perfect if you are looking for night after night of fancy food. The breakfasts, on the other hand, were much more to my style. In addition to the fairly traditional buffet with various breads, salami, cheeses, muesli, fruit and the like, there is a nice menu from which you can select eggs, waffles and other cooked-to-order items. It was a very nice breakfast and basically enabled us to spend the day without a"

"Small but nice house. Not cheap, but nothing is cheap in Lech.....My single room (with parquet flooring) was spacious enough, nice and clean bathroom. The bed has a good mattress, the duvet was too warm for me personally (but that's a matter of taste). The kettle in the room was very practical! The breakfast buffet is great! Very good selection of different things! The homemade muesli is a highlight!! I will definitely come back!"
