Outwood House

We stayed 3 nights with our 2 teenagers and booked 2 rooms. It was for a family wedding and everything was perfect. Rooms were super clean, comfortable and beautiful decor. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. All our needs were met and the hosts were great with my son’s dietary needs and he was well looked after. Hyper allergic bedding was provided in my son’s room and nothing was too much for the hosts. We would definitely recommend staying here and would not hesitate to come back to Outwood House when we visit our family in Leeds. Thank you so much to Richard and Elspeth. We were return visitors to Outwood House for several days in September 25 following an amazing stay earlier in the year. Our room and stay were wonderful this time too; the house and hosts just exemplary! A most restful stay. Fantastic hospitality; delicious breakfast with great choices. The purpose of this visit was to see more of Yorkshire, and we were supported in doing that with lots of help and suggestions. A fab 5 nights; be back soon!

This is a wonderful find. The location is ideal for Leeds and exploring the surrounding areas. Perfect for Leeds Bradford airport. Roundhay Park only a few miles away. Lots of lovely places to explore from here including Skipton, Harrogate, Otley, to name but a few. Leeds city centre is less than half a hour away in a car or taxi. Apparently two beautiful restaurants close by, though we didn’t have the opportunity to visit. Very handily situated for the Spire Hospital (just over five miles away). The atmosphere of OH is lovely. Elspeth and Richard are exceptionally welcoming, accommodating, and are more than happy to share their beautiful home with you. We have been on three separate occasions, and on each, we have been equally warmly welcomed. The rooms are stunning. Beautifully decorated, luxurious beds, and other soft furnishings. Lots of added thoughtful touches, (and some amazing homemade biscuits from the famous ‘Bettys’ of Harrogate). There are beautiful gardens too, which you are invited to enjoy. The breakfast table is equally luxurious, and there are offerings to suit all palettes. OH also feels very secure with a very up to date entry system. We would definitely recommend.

Beautiful property in wonderful grounds and a perfect location to walk and explore both Leeds and the Yorkshire moors. Wonderful care and attention to detail from Richard and Elspeth we had the BEST and most special stay here and felt like we were in a 5* hotel and family home combined. Gorgeous breakfasts, super room, local knowledge and an oasis on the outskirts of Leeds.

Beautiful stately home right in the middle of Leeds. Definitely the most comfortable beds ever slept in , amazing room decor (spotlessly clean) and a beautiful walled English country garden. Definitely 5 star experience. And the best breakfast ever. The owners are extremely accommodating and friendly. .
