The facilities are extremely old and look nothing like the pictures online. It feels like a renovation from the 80s. The location is also far from the city center, but luckily Leeds isn't that big.

Found a pair of boxers under the bed sheets, rooms were very badly maintained. They did change our room however no compensation offered for the inconvenience.

The room was clean in a reasonable way. Since the facility is pretty old, probably hard to feel very clean. There are no soap for shower and shampoo in the box but condition was available. Some plug had no power to connect my wireless charger. It’s great location though.

Leonardo is a well-known chain in the UK and Europe, so you generally can't go too wrong with their hotels. However, this particular Leo in Leeds feels a bit less impressive than the ones in Glasgow Royal or Manchester Central. It's probably on par with the Heathrow branch, in terms of indoor facilities. There's a Sainsbury's supermarket right behind the hotel, open until 11 PM, which is super convenient for grabbing snacks. It's a 10-minute walk from Leeds Station, and also not far from Leeds Corn Exchange, Leeds Art Gallery, and Leeds Armouries Museum (which I highly recommend for its weapons and ancient warfare exhibits). You can also take a bus to the University of Leeds (it doesn't have walls but boasts a large campus) and Hyde Park next to it. 🏃🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️
