We’ve stayed at this premier inn several times - it’s clean and quiet and suits our needs for visiting family in the area. The checkin was the problem on this occasion - the receptionist didn’t seem to know what she was doing, huffing and puffing at the computer screen, clicking endlessly. After 10 minutes we were checked in and the rest of the stay was fine, but when I got the email invoice, I have been charged £89 for the room and not the £73 flexi rate I booked. I think the receptionist either deleted my booking or couldn’t find it hence the higher rate. Not happy, will be calling customer service when they’re available tomorrow.
