Brookfield Hotel

It's not luxurious, but it's good value. The room was clean and quiet, and it's a very short taxi ride back into town. The only slight negative was the fact that the website says they provide hairdryers, and the room didn't have one. But otherwise, it was good, and I'd stay again.

its an old, cheaper hotel, you are getting what you pay for. Reading other reviews i agree the place did smell a bit like an old smokey bookshop and "reception" was literally two leather sofa chairs with a playstation hooked up, but the guy there was perfectly friendly. The lock to our door was difficult to use, but we managed it. The hotel is very dated, and the beds were not amazing (pillows were VERY firm) but for an overnight or short stay it is fine providing you don't have high expectations. Fairly clean, just thrifty. We would go back knowing what we are paying for as the location was good and the area was really quiet with a few little chilled out coffee hotspots nearby.

1st time travelling alone to a concert in Leeds for my 17yr old daughter & needed a local hotel for the night. No Breakfast was needed so for £60 for a double room, was a bargain that close to the city centre. Check in was easy......guy there was very helpful with the security/fire locks. Room was clean, tidy & just right for an overnight stay. If going to Leeds again, she would def: go back.

Next to a petrol station and metal works. You can feel and hear the thudding if the metal presses on the ground floor rooms, so best avoid them. The rooms themselves are serviceable but not very nice. They are old and dated and everywhere has a musty smell.
