The location is perfect but the room standard is varied. Couple months back I stayed in the renovated room without bath but shower. I wanted to the same type of room this time but I was put into a disable room which had some very strong chemical smell and the bathroom conditions was really bad with mould and colour. Tried to change room but was not allowed. They said they could only move me to another disable room even I paid the same price for the renovated room.

The room facilities are simple and old, but the location is good and the service is OK. Parking is not free, it costs £7 for 24 hours. Breakfast is now £10.99 instead of £9.5. Please update the platform

It's relatively clean and tidy, but I live in a basement after all.

We only stayed one night to go to Welford Road for a Saturday night match. Parking was easy just around the corner at the railway station and didn't cost too much on a Saturday night. The bar area had plenty seating but didn't have any ales on offer, just Guinness and lagers, and service was incredibly slow so we gave up waiting and decided to have a drink elsewhere. Our premier plus room was up on the 8th floor but the lifts worked well with little delay so it wasn't a problem. The room was much more spacious than a standard room and had a few extra amenities (Nespresso coffee maker, fridge additional seating etc.) plus a great walk in shower. As always for Premier Inn the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was to a much higher standard than we expected. Everything was hot, well cooked and high quality (especially the sausages). The only downside was a very slow toaster which barely coloured the bread. Overall a great stay in a well located hotel near the city centre.

Tanya made my beds really nicely. So I would like you to give her a pay rise. However, I am very disappointed in the Premier Inn taking away all the baths because I'm a bath guy and I like to call a bath at the Premier Inn a Premier Bath. Finally, Leicester is a really nice place.

Had a get together with some friends and popped in to have a drink, Kasia and Naomi were excellent in their friendliness and were attentive, such a chilled atmosphere, great place to meet up. Will certainly choose this great location again.
