Castle Hotel by Chef & Brewer Collection

Good location. Nice pub. Decent rooms with nice touch of tea coffee got chocolate and biscuits.

What a little gem! The decor was superb. It has a pub that does meals so you don’t have to go anywhere once you have checked in if you don’t want to. The breakfast was lovely with a good selection Would definitely book again

Lovely place

This is a really lovely hotel & I’m looking forward to staying in August. I can most certainly recommend it.

Really nice location of fit for purpose of my stay. Room was well appointed with good sense of fashion. The only improvement I would suggest would be air-conditioning in the rooms

Would have been nice to be able to call the hotel when we were running late, but the AI on the phone did not allow it. Everything else was nice and we are coming back.

Lovely comfortable room, wry helpful staff, great food and a great selection of beers. couple of minor irritations, to barely works, forever pixelating and fan in bathroom didn’t work, resulting in a very steamed up bathroom. Despite these issues we will definitely stay again.

Booked to stay for one night as going to a funeral. Lovely room with good amenities and drink options. The chocolate on the bed was a lovely touch. All the staff were delightful and so welcoming. Went out of their way to help. One item on the menu wasn’t available due to an upcoming menu change but the were happy to give me something else and make it similar for me. The rooms you could see a bit of damp and needs a new coat of paint but I am told this is happening in October. I will definitely be going back if I’m in the area and will recommend to everyone!

Large car park at rear but it was a large pub. Friendly staff and clean room. Food was good and well priced which was shown by how busy it was in the restaurant. The only negative at all for this pub/hotel was that when clearing tables after diners had left the waitress used what cutlery was left on the table to make it up ready for the next diners. How did she know that the previous people didn't sneeze on it or handle it? Not nice in my opinion
