Consistently excellent. We started coming in August 2024 and have been at least once a month since then, for lunches, dinners, celebrations and Sunday lunches. The food is exceptional, varied menus keep it interesting, the chefs compliments are a delightful surprise every time and every course is carefully crafted. You can see the care, the attention to detail and the love of food from start to finish. I’ve tried combinations of food I’d never even have thought of, and there isn’t a single one I can say I wouldn’t have again. I’ve added photos from a number of visits! It’s also exceptional value for the highest quality. The staff are all kind, warm, knowledgable and friendly. They get the balance of attentive and leaving you to it exactly right. They can’t do enough for you if you need it but also you never feel hurried or rushed. You can tell they are a well trained, harmonious team. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We’ll keep going here, because it’s that good, the thought of going anywhere else feels unthinkable! Thank you to all who made my birthday meal tonight really special.

Excellent from food to decor !!! Just outstandingly classy and beautifully presented and welcoming from all the staff ! Having a Nut allergy , menu was discussed at length to ensure I could have the safest and best food experience , food and wine presentation and taste exquisite ! Room immaculate ,, great pillows comfortable bed well presented room with facilities ,,, breakfast as well presented and tasty as dinner experience , consistent throughout with excellent customer service and attentive staff ! Amazing and will go back , totally recommend this place !

Excellent evening out. Lovely decor and venue, exceptional food. Best meal I’ve had in Leicestershire for quite some time, friendly and attentive staff made a very pleasant and memorable evening not much more to say really but I have to use 200 characters. I would thoroughly recommend for fine dining.

Visited for the Cheese evening - seven courses of pure delight (yes, it’s possible to eat seven courses of cheese, especially when dishes are so well crafted. Well presented and delivered food. Option to take the wine flight with well matched choices. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Not sure what has happened to this place!? The food and portions used to be so good but now the price has seriously gone up on food & drinks but the portions have seriously decreased! Just abit of advice,don't have the kitchen door open if the chef is slagging off the front of house staff for all to hear!! Absolutely appalling behaviour from a head chef. And to add,the front of house girls/women were brilliant and very helpful and friendly. I say if you can do it better chef then get on with it yourself!! Glad I don't have to work with him. It has put us right off! Value the staff more.

The food was good but the service was slow. The staff were good but not enough of them. The staff were multi tasking but that negatively impacted the speed of service. This was a decent experience but could have been great if the service was better
