"We had a great stay at the City Hotel Rembrandt. It could not be easier to find, and is only 5 minutes walk from Leiden's main railway station. We arrived before 1200, but where about to check-in nevertheless as our room was already ready. It was a spotless and lovely room on the third floor, complete with balcony (though you did have to dodge the pigeons). Breakfast was in a very pleasant room on the ground floor. A fair selection, though not outstanding (the only warm food available was a boiled egg) and not the greatest value. But that's a small niggle. We had a lovely short stay and would certain stay here again."

"Advantages: The room is clean and hygienic, the service staff takes out the trash and does simple cleaning every day; it is very close to Leiden Central Station, 3-5 minutes walk. There is AH to go in the train station and JUMBO and ALDI opposite, which is very convenient. The front desk speaks very good English and has a very good attitude. It happened to be New Year's Day, and the hotel also prepared candies and sweets like sugar cakes for guests at the front desk. Disadvantages: There is no heating, it will be a bit cold after taking a shower in winter; the water pressure of the shower is not enough, and the water of the shower is small; the lights are not bright enough, and the room is dark."

"The service attitude at the front desk is better. The attitude of the room service is very good. If it is an old building, it can be used, but it is relatively old. There are welcome biscuits and candies and hot water bottles. Generally speaking, the price is still very good."

"Comfortable hotel although the location means it can be noisy at night from the road.lovely terrace by the river. The restaurant is ok although our evening service was appalling. The waitress was grumpy and we gave up on them clearing our table or asking if we wanted dessert."

"Clean rooms and that's nice, but the bathrooms are very small. The beds, on the other hand, are large and good. Location is perfect! Right in the center with a view of the animal market. There is no reception. You can pick up the key at the Rembrandt hotel."
