We have stayed at Landal Sonnenberg several times since 2015, and we've had a brilliant time every time! It's an amazing place for a family holiday, in an incredible setting. The staff are all really helpful and there's plenty to see and do both on-site and locally. Thank you to Bollo and the team for running such an oustanding, wonderful resort.

A very relaxing place with so much to do - ropes course, swimming, walking. Great indoor play area for young kids with food and drink available. Handy store with wine tasting in the afternoon. Cabins are comfortable and cleaned daily. Restaurant is fine. Very close to other small towns for better restaurants if so desired. Swimming centre is excellent for all ages.

We stayed in this park for a week. It is located quite high on a mountain. A beautiful view from the apartment. If you go by bike, it is quite a climb to the top. Facilities at the park are good. Resraurant is reasonable. Booked up quickly. Shop has an acceptable range. The apartment is good, with dishwasher and combination microwave. All in all a great stay.

We had a nice chalet at the Landal Sonnenberg campsite. The chalet had 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Everything was in good condition and clean. The veranda at the chalet was also lovely because of the canopy that came with it. Indoor swimming pool, supermarket with fresh rolls and restaurant with terrace within a 5-minute walk. Outdoor swimming pool 5 minutes by car. Everything really perfect for a beautiful holiday in the Moselle.

Positive aspects: - Activities for children - Swimming pool - Furnishings and space in the holiday home - Quality of the food in the restaurant - Professional and friendly staff Negative aspects: - The heating heats the rooms very unevenly and takes a long time - We found the holiday home partly clean (bedroom) and partly not very clean (toilet and parts of the kitchen). If it had been better cleanliness (and holiday homes better heated in the cold months) for the sake of well-being, I would have given more stars.

We arrived yesterday and really hope that things will get better. Unfriendly staff, particularly in the restaurant and snack bar, seem completely overwhelmed, are irritable and let the customers know it. Please accept our apologies for traveling to you during the holiday season and that you are fully booked! No seats in the restaurant. Furthermore, this Landal park is much more commercial than others. You have to pay for a lot of things, e.g. the trampoline in the games hall, which is a disgrace! There are other games that you have to pay for. The area where you can/should consume food is almost bigger than the play area. The craft club is only open at lunchtime, 11am-1pm, great for kids! Bolo's visiting times are changed at short notice and instead of giving the children a high five, he leaves and his companion says in English, «it's too late». Nice! We haven't felt comfortable so far and long for the Landal Rabbit Hill, which is much more child-friendly and customer-oriented! What a pity!

The laundry bag from the previous guests was still in front of the house, which was removed on the 4th day we were there. House was not clean, floors were dirty, dishes, utensils and pans had to be washed first. We did not open the curtains in the bedroom because otherwise the neighbors could see in. Many loose dogs in the park that were not monitored. There has been an incident with 1 loose dog that attacked our dog. The dog from the house next to us. After we complained, the owner of the dog came to tell us the story together with a Landal employee. This employee didn't say anything, only the owner did the talking. A bit strange. We left earlier because we did not feel that we could guarantee the safety of our dog, partly due to the lax attitude of the Landal employee. Ordering food via the app was not possible. You should also check carefully what you get if the snack bar order was incomplete. It's better to close the park shop, you can't even get a decent meal there. The fruit and vegetable cabinet smelled because there were only rotten products. In short, they will never see us there again.

Decent houses, albeit dated. Kitchen equipment on the meager side and the WiFi is poor. Excellent location for trips along the Moselle. Trier is highly recommended. Nice for a week. Plenty of play options for the kids

Beautiful park in the Moselle, nice surroundings, spacious but somewhat outdated bungalows and (rental) O'Hare caravans. Great for trips by car and for sporty people on the bike. The supermarket in the park is ideal for you and is not too expensive.
