Glazert Country House Hotel

Fantastic family meal and catch up with family today at Glazert House in Lennoxtown, with lovely food, friendly service and reasonable pricing too in comfortable surroundings. Tempura prawn starters were delicious with 2 sauces, all were very happy with the generous portions of pasta, chicken, pie, steak pie, and other meals ftom an extensive choice. Home made apple pie plus gorgeous retro ice cream sundaes completed the dining delight! What's more, we ended up here because of a dismal experience at The Kirkhouse Inn for a booking they took no interest in when it was clear there'd been a blunder. Well done, Glazert, you made our day and turned it round beautifully. We will return!

Had a great night celebrating my 60th birthday food was excellant staff were first class rooms were very comfy clean and a great nights sleep followed by a fresh cooked breakfast perfect for a family meal or any special occasion. Would recommend the glazert 100%.

We had a lovely lunch in the bar after a chilly walk. It was easy to book, we had a table next to the fire, the food and service were excellent, and so was the value for money. A special mention for the very generous portion of mussels. We definitely plan to go back and to try it in the summer when the outside seating area is open.

This is my second time staying at the hotel while away on business. The rooms are of a lovely size and very comfortable, everything required is in the room. Toiletries, iron and ironing board. But the best aspect is the spa bath. This time I had a corner spa bath which was just lovely after a day out working. Also the bathroom has a tv in so relaxing in the bath watching tv is a dream. The restaurant is very quaint, the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. And the food!!! I had a burger which the menu says they make on site and I have to say one of the best burgers I have had in a very long time, absolutely delicious! I have had a very comfortable stay and I look forward to staying again on my next visit. So thank you to all the team at The Glazert Country House Hotel for making my stay 300 miles from home a pleasure.

Ample parking, pleasant gardens (but it was raining so were not able to enjoy them) Very comfortable accommodation, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive staff, excellent food at dinner and breakfast. Happy to recommend and plan to stay on our next trip.

Restaurant review only: busy, cosy, lovely staff, good selection of wine. Menu typically pub grub, usual mains with specials. I had the roast beef - sorry to say not great at all, I could hardly get my knife through it ! This unfortunately is the second time I’ve had this so no more. The veg, gravy etc lovely but beef tough as old boots, One other issue apart from the food are the toilets- far too small/narrow, honestly they are terrible & I know I’m not the only one who has this issue having spoken to friends & family. Please do something about them.
