We stayed there for 3 nights with half board, with parking and took advantage of the spa. First of all the staff. Half are pleasant, friendly and helpful, the other half are extremely unpleasant: - The lady at the spa who ostentatiously eats her candy while she talks to you is borderline rude, but she is nevertheless friendly and smiling. - The one who welcomes you at breakfast, a prison door that barely says hello - The two cooks you meet don't make you want to get too close for fear of them biting - The lady at reception is friendly and outgoing. His colleague is not very indifferent and above all totally ineffective in resolving a problem (see below) - In the restaurant, the waitress is young and inexperienced but very kind and full of goodwill. Unfortunately too left to her own devices, without training, it was we who explained to her, for example, how to keep her customers waiting in a pleasant way, by offering drinks first. Concerning the room, it is correct, small but sufficient. The neighboring stream is a little noisy but it quickly becomes “usual” and we no longer pay attention to it. The bed is ok, the bathroom too. The only downside is that the heating, absent in the bathroom, means that the bathrobes do not dry. Cleanliness is very good. The breakfast is plentiful, varied and good, nothing to say in that regard. On the other hand, in the restaurant it depends on the evening. There are 3 starters, 3 main courses and 2 desserts to choose from, which seems very good except when well before the end of the service there is only one dessert left. And from a qualitative point of view, the first evening, everything was good, the second not at all (the crab salad was actually with surimi, partly dry, and the snails were burnt and without seasoning, inedible), and the 3rd, correct, nothing more. Once again, the waitress's inexperience meant that we were the ones who explained to her how to serve the wine according to its color. But she listened and implemented our advice with enthusiasm. On the Balneo side, the spa is good, the hammam too, and the sauna is lacking in the absence of an hourglass which would allow you to know how long you stay there. But otherwise it's okay. And the (slightly rotten) icing on the cake, the parking lot. You pay €15 per day to have a reserved space, which is expensive but unfortunately necessary given the difficulty of parking nearby. Unfortunately, an indelicate customer encroached on our place which was second in line. So we also had to encroach on the next one and so on. Except that we found ourselves stuck, impossible to get out of the place. We reported the problem to the hotel so they could ask the other guest to move their car and come back to their place in order to unblock us. We asked for it several times as we had to leave early in the morning, so we had to get angry to get the staff to do what was necessary.
