JI Hotel (Leshan Shizhong Shihao Gourmet Street)

I didn't know it was a third-party platform when I booked; they're not affiliated with Ctrip. Since it was 11 PM, I checked in directly without changing rooms. The room was near the elevator, next to the laundry and gym, and close to the road, so it was quite noisy at night. It was completely different from the conditions described in my booking. The next day, when I checked out, the staff asked about my stay, and I mentioned that there was hair in the toiletries cup, and it wasn't clean. They gave me a small gift. Overall, the service varied from room to room. But I probably won't choose Ji Hotel again.

We booked four rooms in total: three business king rooms and one family room, and the experience was truly indescribable. The business king room we stayed in had an incredibly foul odor, but since there were many of us and it wasn't convenient to change hotels, we had to put up with it. I don't know if it was from the bathroom or what, but the stench was overwhelming and impossible to ignore. We called staff to spray deodorizer and turned on the air conditioning and dehumidifier, but it didn't completely eliminate the smell. We thought we could just bear it through the night, but we woke up around 5 am to find ourselves enveloped in the stench and unable to fall back asleep. If there's a smell as soon as you enter, you should definitely change rooms! As for the environment, the location is okay, but the rooms facing the street are a bit noisy due to municipal construction; it's manageable with the windows closed. Regarding parking, there are free parking spots at the entrance, but not many, and you can park underground in the building next door. Finally, regarding service, there were no problems; everyone was very friendly. But don't they check the rooms upon check-in? Didn't the housekeeping department notice the stench as soon as we entered? I've always had a good impression of Ji Hotel, but this is truly the smelliest hotel, bar none. Overall, I suggest everyone be cautious!

The "Shihao Food Street branch" in parentheses misled me; in reality, this hotel is quite far from Shihao, which isn't very convenient. You'd have to drive or take a taxi. The hotel staff were very friendly and attentive, but the facilities and surrounding environment aren't suitable for families with babies. Our initial room was too noisy because it faced the road, so we contacted the front desk to change to a room closer to a residential area. Turns out, someone in the residential area was raising chickens, crowing from 3 AM onwards… and this happened for two days straight. Parking is also a bit of a hassle; there are plenty of spaces, but you have to contact the front desk every time you enter or leave. Overall, it feels like a guesthouse, and for the price in Leshan, it's not good value for money.

Everything else is fine, but I don't know what material the blankets are made of. I'm afraid I'll catch a cold if I don't use them, but I'm unbearably hot and they're not breathable. I haven't slept well for two nights in a row. When I asked the front desk, they said there was nothing they could do; they provide these blankets all year round. Shouldn't a hotel investigate why guests aren't sleeping well and improve its service?

The parking lot is not well-known and the service is very basic.
