ShanShui S Hotel (Leshan Giant Buddha)

Facilities: The hotel facilities are very complete and have a charming, ancient feel. Hygiene: The environment and hygiene are also very clean. Environment: The surrounding environment, in particular, is very quiet, elegant, and full of antique charm. It's also very close to the Leshan Giant Buddha. Service: The service is very thoughtful, with a dedicated shuttle bus and special car transfers to take you to dinner or the parking lot.

This was my first time in Leshan, and I chose this hotel because I liked the idea of having a small courtyard and a spacious room, around 70 square meters. I didn't hesitate to book it. I added the front desk on WeChat, and they told me to wait for the hotel's buggy at the Leshan Museum. Check-in was very quick, and the front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic; they even offered to help me with my heavy luggage. The room certainly didn't disappoint. It had a wet/dry separated bathroom, a washing machine, and a king-sized bed with clean, high-quality bedding. I took a stroll around the courtyard, which had a parasol and a table. You could also exit the courtyard directly, which I believe leads to the Min River at the foot of the Leshan Giant Buddha! We even spotted some stray kittens during our walk. The hotel offers breakfast, which is a bit of a walk, so I'd recommend taking the buggy. The breakfast spread was quite varied. Another convenient feature is that the scenic area shuttle bus stop is just fifty meters from the hotel entrance. Overall, it was a great stay and I'm very satisfied. The service attitude was excellent.

I booked tickets for the May Day holiday and they were a bit pricey. The apartment is 60 square meters, very spacious and well-appointed with a TV, mahjong table, and tea table. It's right next to the scenic area's ticket office, which makes buying tickets super convenient. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, featuring local specialties like Bobo chicken, fermented tofu, noodles, and vermicelli.

The location is fantastic, right within the Leshan Giant Buddha scenic area. It's walking distance to the visitor center, and the shuttle service is incredibly convenient. The hotel itself is designed in a Chinese Zen garden style. Every step offers a new beautiful view, and the courtyards are tranquil and elegant, creating a wonderful atmosphere.

The room was clean and hygienic, and there was free parking available. However, you have to pay first and then get a refund at the hotel's front desk. The hotel is located right inside the Leshan Giant Buddha scenic area, which was great for walks in the morning and after dinner.

The location is fantastic – a quiet stay right across the river from Leshan's most famous food street, and very close to the Leshan Giant Buddha. What really deserves praise is how accommodating the owners were. Our family traveled during a holiday, and when we arrived, they told us that due to peak season, check-out would likely be at 12 PM (which we understood). The next day, before check-out, our child fell asleep, and we asked the housekeeper for an extension due to the special circumstances. Without hesitation, the understanding owners agreed. This 'people-first' approach is truly commendable. Keep up the great work, Leshan!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in Leshan to see the Giant Buddha. It was excellent, right next to the visitor center, which was incredibly convenient. The only slight hiccup was that our taxi driver initially couldn't find the hotel, so it's best to contact the hotel directly upon arrival in Leshan to get directions for the taxi. The hotel's cleanliness was great, and the breakfast was very good, featuring some local Leshan specialties. My husband, being German, found the Western breakfast options a bit limited for a European palate, but overall, it was still very good. We were very satisfied.

Facilities: The room layout is well-designed and the amenities are complete. The public areas also feature many clever design touches. Environment: Located within the Giant Buddha scenic area, it's quiet and uncrowded. There's a shuttle bus for getting in and out, and it's not a long walk to exit the scenic area either.
