The Caledonian Hotel
The Ship Inn
"Stayed at the Ship Inn for a couple of nights and can only say it was an excellent experience; room was well appointed with fabulous views across the bay. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice. Also had dinner in the bar which was very good indeed, again plenty of choice offered."
The Inn at Lathones
"The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, though a bit chilly. The service was warm and attentive, and the breakfast restaurant was charming with a wide variety of food to choose from; I enjoyed a local Scottish breakfast."
Kilconquhar Castle Estate
"lovely place to stay in a great setting only a couple of miles from Elie. Staff are all very accommodating and friendly . Great facilities to use as well ."
Dunclutha Guest House
"Great place to stay and just what me and my kids needed. The host was friendly"
Seascape Largo
"I was visiting Dumbarnie Links just up the coast and this proved a perfect stopover. Like many of the reviews, I can only echo the sentiment of this B&B. The location is stunning, a very quiet part of a quiet town right on the beach - plus visiting in February meant that you really feel like you’re experiencing a part of life in Lower Largo. Matt is a genuine and kind host and you do feel welcome and part of a small community. There is a sea swimming group every morning which I’m sure Matt would get you involved with, I just watched! I had a sea view room and you can hear the waves. Lovely room with a powerful shower! Breakfast was whatever you requested (I had perfect poached eggs) and included an enjoyable conversation with Matt, as I was on my own. This is what makes B&B different from a hotel and this is a delight. Many thanks."
