The (non-upgraded) room is relatively spacious, well designed and quiet. I'm glad I did not accept a higher cost upgrade option. It was great for a 4-day stay. There's a separate area for clothing and storage, and a small refrigerator. There was a wall of windows, good light and effective blackout curtains. The in-room coffee service is nice - I didn't find this in my other hotels. The breakfast buffet is worth the price, especially considering the quality, and that a single cup of coffee elsewhere can easily be 5 Euros. It's not a train station hotel (one mile away from the HBF and the Dom), but this hotel is in a very nice area, and is convenient to a great many dining and entertainment options for a Cologne tourist. It's not horrible to take the train here (with one connection) if you are reasonably mobile. Public transit options are many once you figure them out. The USB charging outlets are helpful -- and I did not find these in any other of my hotels. Overall, this chain is a significant step up from the likes of Ibis and Motel One. This hotel is very much worth the reasonable premium it charges. Desk staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my visit. I would happily return to this property.

I was charged more than the agreed price and the hotel refuses to respond to my complaint. I was in the neigborhood and called them after seeing their prices on their site. Based on their offer I went to the hotel, the check-in took a long time because of computer problems. They charged my credit card, I asked for the bill to check it but they said I would get it at check-out. When I complained the next morning they would follow up later. They now deny it and claim I got a better room, but the price of my room on their site is still much lower than paid.

We had a lovely stay for five nights here. It feels like a guesthouse-art gallery-retreat centre, and my German wasn't good enough to be able to work out exactly what it was. no matter, it is well situated on the banks of the Rhine, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were tasty. there is a small menagerie of birds, rabbits, guinea-pigs and a cockatoo called Picasso (who might even greet you with a ”hello” if you give him a rosebud) in the central courtyard. It certainly wouldn't;t be to everyone's taste, but if you like something a bit different, or are open to new experiences, then give it a shot. it is about 25 minutes walk from Hitdorf See, and there are several good places to eat within walking distance.

We had to check in very late (about 02:30), but that was not a problem at all. The service was very friendly and helpful. We had booked a room for 3 people over Booking.com that was unfortunately no longer available on site. We were fully unproblematic and without additional costs ”distributed” to two Comfort double rooms and received another drink from the house bar for free as an excuse. The rooms themselves are very well equipped and comfortable. The included breakfast was the “hammer” and very rich and varied. Of us absolutely recommended. A parking house is right next to and has not cost us anything.

The location was great. Short walk from all main attractions in the City Centre. All food locations, christmas markets, transport access very conveniently available! We booked the Junior Suite. Whilst the towels were clean. And the beds were excellent. However, the toilet had a smell of leftover waste. =( And needed a few days to get the smell out. However, our stay had ended by then. So i'm not sure if this can be improved in the future. I do hope so. The service was excellent. The staff were willing to help clarify all our queries, and provide suggestions of places to visit. Facilities - I thought that for the Brand Name 'Hilton'. More facilities could have been made availble for us. Like a Gym. Evening Cocktails. Etc. As we had booked suites in other Hilton outlets across Europe and Asia, and the facilities availble to us, was a lot more. Probably can improve on this.

The location is good, walking about 15 minutes to the Dom, in a quiet side street. Rooms are clean and well equipped but small. There are some houses that have been assembled here, so there will be differences in size of the rooms. Beautiful and large choice for breakfast, which was included on the site for an unprecedented price. Deep garage available at charge, too wide should not be the car for it. Check in and out has worked wonderfully.

The hotel is located beside the train station. There are many restaurants nearby and the cathedral is not too far away. The staffs were a little weird. They tried to be funny but maybe something was lost in translation and made us feeling uncomfortable. One of the staffs didn’t understand our question in English, but instead of trying to understand our question, she insisted her answer which left us more confused. Another staff completely ignored us when we were trying to talk to him because he was “busy” doing something else behind the desk although he made a lot of uncomfortable jokes at the beginning.

Reserved for one night with grandson (11) as a base for a visit to Neanderthal. Private underground parking, not too wide but more convenient than searching for a place on the street. Friendly welcome but you can best know what German, English or any other language is clearly not their fort. No too large room, but enough for 1 night. Flask of water and tea, no coffee, available. No TV or telephone guide, but menu from the in-house Italian restaurant La Scala. No air conditioning in the room but a window but at higher outdoor temperatures, no cool room. We were both of the same about the poor quality of the head coats, and according to the good German custom, you must make your bed yourself, Maw, throw a layer on it and the donut cover on it again. Bathroom spacious and beautiful with inlet-regen shower, hairdryer also available. Beautiful indoor pool, pleasant water temperature, clothing cabins and free towels available. Only the lockers were not accessible, 4 bedrooms, which is a little on the saving side. Also sauna accessible, only sad that some guests want to use it naked, which is their right of course, but yet less attention in a The hotel is located in the centre of the city, and the hotel is located in the centre of the city. Hotel staff, were professional, efficient and friendly. I was on a business trip, the hotel was convenient for a good connection to the road network, in the morning for business. While being convenient for access to the city and other amenities in the evening.
