"I booked for 2 nights. Place was beautiful, staff are polite and professional. Booked the hotel because it says it’s got Wi-fi. Upon arriving there’s WiFi in the room but NO signal, and there’s no data signal too. The only wifi connection is at the restaurant which is also very weak. I requested to cancel and refund the 2nd night but the property rejected the request. I would’ve been fine if it’s not listed on the amenities. If there’s no wifi, update the listing so it doesn’t disrupt our travel arrangements and lose money. Since they rejected my request, I had to book another hotel while still paying for this one."

"The room was small, compared to the original booking that I had reserved. They cannot find my booking reservations so they had to put me in 1 of the rooms available. I booked for a Deluxe Suite, and they said they can’t locate my booking. So they had to transfer me to a smaller room, which is quite a downgrade to what I had paid. No compensations provided. Anyway, the room was still fine, but cleanliness is not at its best. They didnt really do much effort to clear signs of previous visitor. See photo below. Overall experience, average."

"Highly recommend this Hotel. Me & my partner stayed for 4 nights. All of the staff we met were extremely accommodating and kind throughout our stay, especially the Receptionist, Chef & Owner. The Receptionist helped us with finding taxis and moped hire at the correct rate. The bed was very comfy, and the shower worked well. Would stay again if we were to visit Leyte in the future. "We had to ask the front desk staff to transfer us to another room because the aircon unit wasn’t working. There’s a water dispenser at the 3rd floor. Breakfast is buffet; not much selection but it’s okay to get you by. No elevator as well. Location is great. 24 hours open Andok’s and supermarkets are near. ATM machines are everywhere. Must visit restaurants: Ocho; Prakaz bbq; Fahrenheit food Center. The hotel restaurant is a good place to dine too. Huge servings and tasty. Very friendly staff also. Full of cute and antique stuff in this hotel which are definitely collectors items; very interesting. Tip: if you’re a light sleeper, ask for a room not on the street side as the vehicles tend to be very noisy since the rooms are just until the 4th floor."

"Nice hotel, inexpensive, good staff and convenient location. Best hotel in this small town. Everything was clean and well maintained. Nice restaurant in the ground level of the hotel. Free breakfast with room, snd good food and service. Nice room,(bed, desk, tv) with the only thing missing was a small refrigerator. Good bathroom with all the amenities and nice hot water. Located in the center of town by the Metro store and with plenty of places to eat in short walking distance. Would gladly stay there again."

"Tried to cancel less than 24 hours after booking, because I had a medical treatment scheduled by my doctor and they wouldn’t let a reschedule. Even when it was more than a week before the reservation. So, they probably doubled down and sold my room to someone else after I already payed for it."
