Resort & Spa le Dune

We had a fantastic first experience at the hotel. The hotel is Italian style, and the facilities for kids are amazing. I really would like to acknowledge the quality of the kids club and the friendliness of the team. We experienced baby club and mini club, and the team of Anna (Pier, Camilla , Laetitia and all others) treated our little boy (2years old) as Prince. They love their job, and you feel it as parents. We are specially grateful for the love and care given by Achille to our Timothé (and we hope he will read those lines). We are also very grateful to the Team of Enrico, specially to Livia, Camilla, Diego, Martina and all that made the experience so wonderful for Valentine our girl (5years old) that even decided by herself to spend full days with the team. I really want also to highlight that the quality of the kids experience does not stop at the club, the team works very hard and are also present to animate the evenings … with exactly same passion, care and joy than the day. Last but not least the quality of the animation and entertainment was above our expectations, the team is really professional and offer to you diversified professional shows. Special thank you also to the ladies from biberoneria, they are always welcoming and pleasant and they save your life as parents… pasta, rice, soupe, milk, jus…. Everything is available there and included in your rate! For the rest, restaurants are good, swimming pools are nice, receptionists always available to help you and find solution. When kids are happy … parents are really happy! We highly recommend it!

Such a perfect stay we had in this cozy hotel! Everything was great: staff, food (the Carrimbancq restaurant turned out to become our favourite, but others were also very very good), room size (family suite), swimming pools, facility itself. Played tennis as well - tennis court was good enough, nothing to complain about. The beach is something spectacular - we were really lucky, not a single windy day during the whole stay, just a calm, torquise, clear clean water every day all day. Dream :) hotel provides fruits on the beach for free, this was so nice and caring. One of the best few places to stay with child in North Sardinia and get quite sophisticated vacay. Will be back as soon as we can. Thank You!

Excellent stay at this hotel with family and friends. The food, service and facilities were great. The hotel is a little remote as not near a town and getting around requires a car but we also managed a couple of bus trips. The beach is stunning and not too over crowded considering we went in peak season. The staff were overall helpful, kind and friendly. Thanks to Carlo especially for this.

This year was the second time we've taken our summer vacation at Le Dune. We are a family of four, with kids aged 9 and 12. We took the half-board option, where breakfast and dinner are included, with the exception of drinks. The main reasons we went back: 1. The place With its excellent (large/deep) swimming pools and fantastic choice of superb quality restaurants, Le Dune is simply a wonderful destination. It features low, one-storey buildings and cute paths wind throughout the site, so it does not feel 'built up' at all, much more like a village. 2. Kids club This year both of our kids were in the 9-13 age club (called Junior Club I think). The team of young staff are amazing, and the activities are a decent mix of sports, creative, a movie here and there, and some music/theatre (the kids club's members get involved in one of the weekly shows). In terms of languages, the default is Italian, but most of the staff also speak some English, and others bits of French, German etc. Our kids understand Italian, but their EN and FR friends seemed to enjoy things equally. 3. The staff Similar to the Kids Club's team, Le Dune's entire staff are obviously well trained and super smiley and helpful. For example, this year we found our initial apartment was a little too close to the main piazza where the evening shows take place - thus too noisy for our kids to get to sleep - and the reception team relocated us without one iota of fuss. 4. Beach While the beach isn't the most beautiful in Sardinia, that's largely because the bar is so high! The sand is lovely, the water blue and clear, there is a sandbar 30 meters out where you can stand up and rest, and there are plenty of sunbeds available. One thing did change recently, which is that these sunbeds are now paid at a daily rate (e.g. no longer included in the 'all-included' pricing). However, if you book the year before (meaning before December for the summer after), sunbeds remain free. Will we go back again for a third year? Most likely, since it's the only vacation we've taken with kids where we come back actually feeling properly relaxed :-)

Fantastic family holiday. So much for everyone to do, from archery to football and tennis lessons. Very friendly staff and spacious rooms. The spaghetti restaurant on the beach which does lunch is an absolute must visit, excellent team working there and delicious food. I will definitely return. Car hire was easy and excursions were easily organised with the very helpful customer service.

My wife and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary and decided to book Le Dune for a week. We stayed at the Hotel La Duna Bianca and had a sea view suite. Before we arrived I emailed the manager to ask how I could give my wife a surprise anniversary dinner. He could not have been more helpful, always answering emails quickly with suggestions. I felt he cared which was reflected in our stay. Our experience, from check in to check out was great. We were treated brilliantly, including a tasting menu dinner at Il Tramonto, through to the staff knowing why we were there and making an effort. The team who brought breakfast to our terrace (that was a nice option ) daily, and the housekeeping team were really good, friendly and could never do enough to help. Even walking around the resort every staff member we saw spoke to us which felt natural. Whilst wherever we ate was good, the tasting menu and romántico were lovely. The pride from the staff, whether they were waiting or cooking was obvious. They took time to visit the tables, explain the food and cared that we were happy. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, the staff made it truly special.
