Located a few hundred meters outside the scenic area, the guesthouse is very clean, has a bathtub, excellent service, comfortable bedding, and is reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our stay here and would recommend this hotel without hesitation. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and genuinely feel like a place where you can relax. Everything was very clean, including the room, bathroom and the hotel in general. There were no unpleasant smells or disturbing noises at all. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the room had everything we needed. One of the absolute highlights was the huge floor-to-ceiling window front covering an entire wall of our room. You can enjoy the beautiful green scenery of Maolan without even leaving your room. Waking up to that view was amazing and really added to the whole experience. At the same time, the curtains could darken the room really well, so the large windows were no problem at all when you wanted to sleep or simply have some privacy. The location is beautiful and gives you exactly the atmosphere you would hope for when staying in Maolan. It is peaceful, surrounded by nature and a great base for exploring the area. There are places to eat nearby, and sometimes the owner's wife also cooks incredibly delicious food. But what made this place really special for us were the hosts. They are honestly some of the kindest and most welcoming hosts we have ever met. The atmosphere is extremely friendly, relaxed and personal. We didn't feel like anonymous hotel guests, but almost like we had become part of their family. They were always helpful and accommodating, and even a late check-out was no problem at all. They also know the area very well and can show you beautiful places nearby. They offer hikes into the rainforest as well as tours where you can discover and learn about the local insects, which makes staying here much more than just booking a room. There is also a shared washing machine that guests can use for free, as well as a large common area where you can hang your clothes to dry, which was very convenient for us while travelling. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations in basically every way. We originally planned to stay for a shorter time but liked it so much that we extended our stay. I would come back anytime. If you are visiting Maolan and want a comfortable place surrounded by beautiful nature with truly wonderful hosts, I can warmly recommend staying here.

I couldn't have asked for better. I was astonished by the service, cleanliness, friendliness, and treatment. All of this at an incredibly low price. Communicating can be a bit complicated if you don't speak Chinese, as almost no one in this region speaks English. Fortunately, I had someone with me who could. The lovely lady treated us like her own grandchildren and insisted that we eat with her, letting us try typical local dishes. I truly felt at home. As for the service itself, I was even more surprised. We stayed for two nights, and every day they cleaned the room, changed the towels, provided slippers, a new toothbrush, and a bottle of water. In the evening, she insisted on giving us fruit. Regarding the location, it's very convenient, as it's just a 10-minute walk from the bus stop that takes you to the main attractions and also to the train station. As a foreign tourist, I highly recommend it!

Room clean and comfortable. Service very good. When we want go outside, they will bring us out by car. Very friendly and helpful. After we check out, he give us some mineral water for next trip. High recommended.

I was really surprised when checking into the room that was a free upgrade by Trip.com! It was spacious and well equipped. What a luxury! There is a separate shower from the tub. A Japanese-styled toilet. A tea-drinking area. Breakfast was included in the rate, it was simply noodle soup, soya drink and steamed buns. But tasty and filling. The location is somewhat far for a walk from where you are dropped by the bus if you are carrying a big baggage. Otherwise, it's good for a walk to the scenic gate.

Honestly I felt sad to be leaving after 4 nights in this hostel, largely because the owners have been so helpful and friendly that it felt like home! I seemed to be the only person in the common area, together with the owners, each evening when I got back from the parks. I also appreciate Libo so much after spending time in huge cities like Chongqing and Chengdu - it feels so relaxed and intimate, and there's also so much good food around. İt really is a pity that many people are going straight to Xiaoqikong from Guiyang for a day trip only --- there's so much charm to this small town. The hostel is in a great location --- a 7 minute walk away from the bus stop that takes you to the train station and the scenic area, as well as on a street with food shops, and fruit stalls. I loved that. İt is kept very clean. The curtains on the bed are so creative and sweet.

The store owner was very friendly and took the initiative to contact us in advance to inquire about the arrival time. We booked two rooms and upgraded a parent-child room, which was very generous! I would recommend it to my friends. After checking out, they knew we had to go a long way and gave us some mineral water to drink, which was very warm and considerate.

Very good hotel with superb location right in side the LB park, room size is big and clean. It is easy to go to the tourist attractions. Shuttle bus is super convenient to go out, front desk staff provided great services.

The B&B is clean and newly decorated. The beds are moderately soft and hard, and there is a small sofa that you can lie down on. The location is not in a busy city, but it is close to Xiaoqikong. I walked there in about seven minutes from the Dongmen bus parking lot. When I went out to Xiaoqikong, I asked the boss to ask the uncle to take a sightseeing car to the entrance of the scenic spot. The only drawback is poor sound insulation. The sound of people talking in the corridor when the door next door is locked is very clear.
