This is in fact (at the moment) two large "villas" with three floors. The bedrooms are all different and some sleep 1, some 2, and some 3. There is a "living room" on the ground floor of one villa, and an eating area in the other. The rooms are all modern and very comfortable. An evening meal is served and a buffet breakfast - the food is very tasty and high quality. The price for D, B & B is fantastic value for money and includes dinner drinks, but not morning coffees (tea, yes). They also provide excellent picnic lunches for a small price. The staff are all very helpful. The "village" is on the edge of a national park and is aimed at walkers (or - in our case - botanists). It is a beautiful setting and nearby is a local lake and forest.

We stayed 2 nights at the beautiful Joen Village and were very impressed with the accommodation. The place looked very new and modern, located about 1km outside of the little village of Fushe-Studen. On the property there are a number of large modern villas, each with multiple rooms in multiple configurations. We had a 1-bedroom apartment complete with living room and full kitchen. The apartment was spacious, bright, clean and comfortable and all the furnishings and fittings were of good quality. We really liked all the hooks around the place to hang clothes – a rarity in most places here. The Wifi connection was lightning fast and the TV had a decent range of English language programming. There were lots of heaters/AC around the apartment, so no problem staying warm. We were able to park right next to our apartment which was very handy. There are a couple of decent mountain bikes on site that can be rented for 5 Euros per day. We gave them a good ride up into the mountains and they performed OK, but the roads around here are super rocky and rough. The onsite restaurant served us up a great dinner both nights, and the free breakfast was reasonably good as well. Overall we had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend this place to other travelers looking for a great base for exploring the national park.

the place was very beautiful, the guesthouses were very clean, there was heating because it was cold now in September. The restaurant's dishes were very tasty and all the staff were very kind and ready to serve us at any moment. The walk to the lake was very fabulous, you can make a barbeque or light a fire to warm up. I hope I can go again.
