Tinhay Mill ★★★

"We cannot recommend this guesthouse highly enough. The rooms are spacious, characterful and spotless. The breakfast was beautifully cooked and served in the quaint dining room. We travelled as a family for a wedding and the hostess was so kind and accommodating. She sorted out a booking mix up, helped us with room-hopping to get ready and was gracious about being asked to wake the father of the bride in the night because some vital meds had been left in his car. Lifton Hall Hotel ★★★

"Good size room, very comfy bed. Exceptional breakfast. Lots of vegan options for dinner. The bar area had a great, old pub feel to it. Lovely, friendly staff, especially the owner/chef. We only stayed one night as we were passing through but hope to go back for the food alone!"

The Arundell ★★★

"What a friendly hotel so kind and great with our little dogs. Our room was well furnished and so quiet away from traffic not that there was much. We love Lifton for the walks and it is within distance of Padstow Looe and Bude. And if you want shops, Tavistock is the place to go. Well worth a relaxing visit. Thank you to Arabella and Simon."

Frankaborough Farm Holiday Cottages ★★★★

"A warm welcome and big smile from Linda was just the tonic after a long drive from Manchester. Nothing was too much trouble and the hot tub was a welcome bonus. We stayed in the ilodge and it was perfect for the two of us and our puppy. Stunning views from the lodge and it had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Warm and comfortable. Even the storm didn’t disturb us. Perfect place to stay for our first visit to Devon and Cornwall."
