This hostel really played a significant role in my Lijiang trip. From the start, the hostess was incredibly thoughtful, giving me all sorts of tips, just like family. Then there was the outgoing and cheerful 'big brother,' the warm-hearted 'auntie,' and a lovely young lady. What surprised me most were the dogs there – super well-behaved and obedient! It felt like meeting friends from all over the world and becoming family. It was such a warm atmosphere. The owner even invited us to eat with them; it was quite affordable, much cheaper than eating out, and their homemade steamed buns and corn buns were incredibly hearty and delicious. The aunties' family used to run a restaurant, and their cooking is genuinely amazing, just like a home-cooked meal. On New Year's Eve, the owner organized a Tibetan-style BBQ and a tea ceremony around a fireplace. They even took us to Hongsuntang Square to watch the fireworks, which was super nice! The cats and dogs in the courtyard are all so adorable 😍 and love to play with people. It was a truly wonderful experience. I'm definitely staying there again when I return to Lijiang!

The location is convenient, and I often meet international travelers here. The common areas are great for sunbathing and socializing. They also organize shared meals, which helps me eat healthy even when I'm away from home.

I think this place excels in every aspect – service, atmosphere, and cleanliness are all top-notch. The owner cleans diligently every day, and the communal meals are absolutely delicious. While 30 yuan might get you a night at a hostel, it's impossible to get a five-dish, one-soup meal in Lijiang for that price, especially one that's both generous in portion and incredibly tasty. Also, be sure to try the food stall run by the kind old gentleman; his food is fantastic! And he's a very chatty and friendly person, so don't miss the chance to talk to him!

Lijiang – such a beautiful city! Snow-capped mountains are visible everywhere you look, offering scenery I'd never dreamed of before. It was a chance to truly connect with nature and fellow travelers, creating unforgettable memories and a feeling of returning to my roots. The hostel itself was very cozy and comfortable, and the family running it were incredibly warm and kind. They even cook their own dishes every evening, which sadly I didn't get a chance to try this time. I definitely hope to come back and visit again!

There are plenty of great restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making transportation and daily life super convenient. The hostel owner and staff are absolutely amazing—so warm and thoughtful! When I checked in, they not only helped me plan my itinerary but also recommended several local hidden gems. In the evenings, everyone gathered around to play games and share travel stories. Travelers from all corners of the world came together, creating wonderful sparks – an experience no hotel could offer. The price is also very budget-friendly, offering incredible value for money! Next time I visit this city, I'm definitely staying here again!

I highly recommend this hostel. Every day, there are communal meals where everyone eats together. The owner is incredibly nice, from Hebei, and very laid-back. He takes us out on his motorcycle every day for all sorts of fun. The hostel is super lively, full of backpackers, cyclists, and motorcyclists. You'll meet a lot of like-minded people here. Nowadays, it's hard to find hostels this vibrant, so I really recommend Qishanju. It's located on the lower section of Jinjia Road.

This hostel is quite spacious, and it's actually the owner's converted home. It's super convenient for laundry and showers. I originally planned to stay in Lijiang for only 4 days, but because the environment was so comfortable, I ended up staying for a whole week! 😂 I also met a lot of interesting friends, and the owner occasionally organizes activities. I had a really fun time during my stay and look forward to coming back in the winter if I have the chance. I wish the owner all the best!

Really good, really good, really good! The room was cleaned daily and was very tidy. The owners cooked incredibly delicious meals. I slept well and had a great time playing 'Sanguosha' with everyone.

The owners are very friendly! I texted them in the middle of the night because I wanted a bottle of oxigen. And without hesitation they got it for me, that was surprisingly sweet! There is a nice garden and livingroom where you can hang out. They have a heating blanket which was so comfortable, I slept so well! There was also soap that you could use. There is also a cheapp local market just 1 minute wallk away. I was having some trouble finding information about the tours, since most of the information is in chinese or on wechat miniprograms. The owner helped be book the tiger leaping busrides. She answered so many questions, I thought she was very caring and patient. Overall a very nice stay!
