This guesthouse is located within the ancient city, offering a peaceful retreat despite being centrally located and easily accessible. The rooftop boasts a stunning viewpoint for the 'Sun-kissed Golden Mountain' (a local sunrise phenomenon). The morning I left, I captured some amazing photos of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain – it looked absolutely magical, like a scene from a fairy tale. It truly made my short trip to Lijiang worthwhile.

Echo was a great source of information and advice. She helped us book a car and guide to see Yulong Snow Mountain. The accomodation was super comfortable and it was great to use the washing machine to refresh our clothes. The accomodation is super close to Mu Mansion and street food!

The owner is incredibly thoughtful and reliable; they helped us with our luggage and even assisted us in getting tickets for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Following their recommendations for food and activities saved us so much hassle and ensured we had a fantastic time without any disappointments. The two adorable cats at the guesthouse are super cute; my daughter absolutely loved them and didn't want to leave. Our stay here was truly an unforgettable experience, and we were so sad to go!

This guesthouse is located within the ancient city, close to Zhongyi Market, making it very convenient. It's just a 5-minute walk to catch the 101 bus to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The guesthouse features a small attic with views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and they have two adorable little cats. The cleanliness is good, and the environment is lovely (with lots of flowers and plants, it's very pleasant). The owner is also very welcoming.

Overall, I'm very satisfied! The hotel owner was super enthusiastic and hospitable. I watched the sunrise over the snowy mountains from the third floor, and even though it was really windy in the morning, they provided extra blankets – every little detail was thought of here. The location is excellent; I spent every evening strolling around the old town, haha. Their entrance with all the plants is also very picturesque for photos. The area around the room was especially quiet.

Missing those heavenly days under the snowy mountains in the humid heat of Guangzhou 😭 Linshen Youlu was exactly what I'd imagined a charming Yunnan courtyard inn to be! The two-story wooden structure with its viewing balcony and lush, verdant garden, waking up to sunshine and pulling back the curtains, or simply sitting in a rocking chair and daydreaming – thinking back now, it was simply beautiful. 1️⃣ **Location and Convenience:** I visited all three ancient towns, and Lijiang (Dayan) Ancient Town is definitely the most convenient and bustling. The guesthouse is near Zhongyi Market within the ancient town. From the high-speed rail station, you can take a direct bus to Zhongyi Market and it's a 5-minute walk from there. If you want to go to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the 101 bus stop is also a convenient 5-minute walk away. Right outside the guesthouse is the famous Zha Zha Rice Noodles, and Zhongyi Market has breakfast and snack stalls in the morning and evening, along with all sorts of essentials for climbing like warm clothing and oxygen. It's incredibly convenient. 2️⃣ **Accommodation Environment:** Despite being next to the market, it's very quiet at night. The room comes with an electric blanket and a humidifier, and they even provide shawls for photos. The electric blanket heats up quickly, making for a very warm sleep~ The plants in the courtyard are well-maintained, lush and beautiful. Every little corner of the courtyard is unique and photo-worthy. The tea room on the first floor is a common area for brewing tea, the second floor has fenced chairs and rocking chairs, and you can see the snow-capped mountains from the third floor. Plus, there are two adorable cats! 🥺 3️⃣ **Hospitality:** The owner, Sister Echo, is truly wonderful! When I first arrived, she asked about my preferred room type and helped me with my luggage. I loved chatting with her whenever I entered or left the guesthouse, hahaha. She also recommended delicious places to eat, helped me take photos with 'Prince' (one of the cats), and even brought me oxygen when I experienced altitude sickness after coming down from the snow mountain. When it was time to leave, she used a trolley to help several guests, including myself, with our luggage. She brought so much warmth and comfort to someone like me, traveling to an unfamiliar city. 🥺 I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Lijiang!!

This is a beautiful quadrangle-style inn. The owner was the only person we met in Yunnan who could speak fluent Cantonese with us, which made us feel very much at home. Upon arrival, the owner helped us pull our large suitcases into the inn with a trolley. The room was spacious and comfortable. The duvet was heated, so we slept extra warmly on cold nights. The inn's location is ideal; Zhongyi Night Market and Lijiang Ancient Town are within walking distance. You can see the top of the snow-capped mountains from the loft and the street in front of the gate. The owner repeatedly reminded us to stay warm. Drinking water is refilled for free, and teaware, tea leaves, and free flower cakes are provided. Scarves are also provided in the room for us to wear out. All necessary toiletries, such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, towels, and body wash, are available. The only drawback is that there's no bidet next to the toilet, so you have to walk into the shower to wash. After a bowel movement, used toilet paper cannot be flushed down the toilet and must be put in the bin next to it. This was a bit awkward for my friend and me because it would definitely smell if left in the bin. As a result, we tacitly agreed to use the restrooms at restaurants or public toilets outside. The inn also has two adorable cats that you can pet, which are very charming. Everything here is wonderful. I highly recommend staying here.

I've been to Lijiang a few times, and this stay at Linsen Youlu was really great. The guesthouse has an excellent location, making it super convenient to get around. The environment is exceptionally clean, and the landlady is incredibly warm and friendly; she even upgraded our room for free. Plus, you can see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the guesthouse rooftop – awesome! 👍

The owner, Echo, was wonderful. As a solo traveler, I felt so much kindness. I got altitude sickness after returning from Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and she thoughtfully provided an oxygen tank. The room was well-equipped, and the view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the rooftop was stunning. Plus, there were two adorable cats! It's very close to Zhongyi Market and the night market, and it was nice and quiet at night.

Belated review! I stayed at Linsen Youlu for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The guesthouse's location is super convenient – it's quiet but not isolated. The cleanliness, service, and ambiance were all wonderfully maintained by the owner. I'll definitely come back if I have the chance!

If I could give this homestay more than 5 stars, I would! From start to finish, the hospitality was absolutely top-class. The architecture of the building is stunning, and the highlight has to be the rooftop, you can see JDSM perfectly from up there! Inside, the room was spotless and incredibly cozy. We had super comfy beds and a powerful heater for a perfect night's sleep. A clean bathroom fully stocked with everything you need (towels, toothbrushes, hairdryer, etc.). & the most adorable resident cat, which made us feel right at home! We arrived earlier than expected, but the team worked so hard to get our room ready incredibly fast. Our host, Echo, is an absolute sweetheart. She is always smiling and even helped us carry our heavy bags! What touched us the most was her thoughtfulness; she shared a comprehensive guide of local resources and specifically pointed out Halal food options, which was so considerate and helpful for us. Additionally, the location is perfect, literally a 3-minute walk from a convenient transport stop, making it easy to get around. It is directly few walks away from the Lijiang Old Town. Final Verdict: Echo, thank you for being so kind and helpful. It was a pleasure knowing you, and we wish you nothing but the best!
