Booked this room for the skylight but ended up loving the view that oversee the ancient town more! Room might not be the most upkeep but this is due to the old age. Overall still a decent stay. However, people with walking difficulties might reconsider as the place is located on the top of the ancient town so there’s many stairs to climb each time we have to head out. As well, it might not be convenient calling Didi as driver and car plate needs to be register each time they enter Lion Hill.

Super nice accommodation! I felt like home :). When you arrive, they offer you tea. The hosts are super nice and friendly. The common rooms are beautiful and the bedroom smells nice, it is spacious, quiet and clean and the bed is comfortable. Additionally, it has an electric blanket so you can warm up your bed before going to sleep. I loved this accommodation and the people running it. P.S.: they can speak a bit of English.

Located in Lijiang Ancient City. A bit difficult to find, have to walk uphill on stone steps. Friendly welcome and beautiful room. Front desk staff very willing to help offer tourist recommendations. Would stay again.

The wonderful view was excellent and the breakfast was very delicious and the room was also very clean. But most of all, the kindness of the staff moved me the most. They provided a lot of information for the convenience of travelers and answered the questions kindly. They also provided pick-up service on the way to the accommodation and back to the station. I will never forget the memory of the five days at Merry Inn. If I come to Lijiang again, I will definitely stay here. I highly recommend this hotel to you.

The room was spacious with a panoramic view of Lijiang Old Town. The courtyard was large and the temperature was just right; it was very pleasant to relax there in the evening. The owner was very helpful, assisting us with our luggage and finding parking spaces – excellent service!

The three girls at the front desk were very friendly and helped with the luggage during the pick-up. The room was quiet and clean, the water heated up quickly, and the quilt was warm. Because it is on the hillside, it is very quiet to sleep at night. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the bar street below. You can sit in the lobby and eat melon seeds, chat and enjoy the scenery. The design of the entire inn is in the style of traditional Lijiang inns. The beams in the lobby use mortise and tenon structures without a single nail. I heard that there are very few inns of this style left in the ancient city of Lijiang. Eighty percent of the guests of this inn are foreigners, which has a lot to do with their maintenance of the traditional style.

The environment is really nice, quite quiet and comfortable. The girls are warm and fun. There is also a small pavilion for resting and drinking tea. It was a very satisfying trip. 🌹🌹🌹

The proprietress is from Sichuan and is straightforward and generous. She invited me to drink tea, eat fruit, eat rice noodles, and so on. The front desk lady is beautiful and kind, and she arranges things thoughtfully. Be sure to ask the inn to contact a car to pick you up and drop you off at the airport, and they will help you with your luggage for 80 yuan. Don't take a taxi or Didi or take the airport bus, you will regret it, don't ask me how I know, it's a lesson learned.
