We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the centralized heating kept the room warm at all times, even when the lights were off, which we really appreciated. The hotel is located inside Shuhe Ancient Town, offering a very quiet and peaceful surrounding. The staff were friendly and helpful during operating hours; however, they start work at 8am, so if you need to check out earlier, you’ll need to handle your own luggage. Overall, a comfortable stay and would recommend it.

This guesthouse stay absolutely exceeded all expectations! The in-house coffee shop was a delightful surprise; both the coconut latte and hazelnut latte were delicious! The barista's latte art was also very impressive! The guesthouse isn't in the most central location, but it's near Dongmen! The surrounding environment is incredibly peaceful, far from the hustle and bustle. Stepping out, you can instantly feel a connection with nature. Whether it's enjoying a coffee in the morning to wake up or relaxing in the evening, it's incredibly pleasant. As for the accommodation, it was impeccable. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the facilities were complete and thoughtfully provided. Every detail showed great care. The most unexpected surprise was that the owner proactively upgraded us for free to a family room with a direct view of the snow-capped mountains. Waking up and drawing the curtains to see the majestic snow mountain right outside was absolutely stunning and truly touched our hearts! It's such a shame we only stayed for one night! We didn't even get to experience the afternoon tea! I'll definitely be returning and recommending this place to all my friends!

This hotel is located within Shuhe Ancient Town. It's about 200 meters from the East Gate, making it convenient for taxis. The owner even uses a three-wheeler to pick up and drop off luggage at the East Gate. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and the environment is clean and tidy. The breakfast is abundant, and they also offer afternoon tea. You can see the snowy mountains from the room, and the view is absolutely stunning! The soundproofing in the room is also excellent, ensuring a very comfortable night's sleep.

Our three-night stay in this charming, tranquil and convenient family-run hotel was an absolute delight. The traditional Chinese courtyard design is every bit as beautiful as it appears in the photos, making it a perfect spot to decompress after a long journey. We stayed in the Light Luxury Double Bedroom, which was very spacious and comfortable. I'd rate its cleanliness an 8/10; while I did notice a bit of dust in some corners, it wasn't a concern for us. One of the standout aspects of our stay was the staff. Despite the language barrier, they were warm and hospitable. Using a translation app ensured we had everything we needed. There is an added personal touch that you simply don't find at larger hotels. Amenities: We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and enjoyed afternoon tea at the cafe. Both spaces are well-designed and functional. While they can get a little noisy when full, it was still a lovely experience. Breakfast was served as a set menu. While I might have preferred more variety, it was delicious. Same goes to the tea time offerings too. Accessibility: Given Lijiang's high altitude, having an elevator was incredibly convenient for acclimatizing and made getting around a breeze. This is a much welcomed feature especially for those who are elderly or simply prefer not to use the stairs. Location: It's tucked away for peace and quiet, yet just a short 5-minute stroll from the nearest gate where you can easily find a DiDi as well as the main town square, giving you quick access to all the shops and restaurants without sacrificing your quiet retreat. Final Verdict: If you appreciate a quiet, cozy, and personal atmosphere, I can't recommend Shuiyun Fangzhou enough. It’s the perfect choice for a peaceful escape while still being close to all the action.

The hotel boasts a beautiful setting, and the rooms are quite spacious. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive; they even send staff to the parking lot to help with your luggage. Plus, the drinks served at the hotel are delicious.

I chose to stay at this hotel for one night before heading to Tiger Leaping Gorge the next day. Everything about the hotel was great, except for the bathroom door being transparent, which was a bit too avant-garde for my taste. I gave them feedback, and they said they would improve it, so it should be much better now.
