1. This hotel is a residential apartment complex converted into a hotel. Driving, I couldn't find the main entrance. I navigated to the Wyndham using the address, saw a big sign, and then drove to the back entrance of the complex where it said 'Jinlin Hawthorn', but saw no front desk. Staff directed me back to the front entrance, which was the Wyndham. Only after entering did I see the small print 'Jinlin Hawthorn' and realized it was the same hotel. I had called the front desk previously to ask for directions, and they didn't mention that Wyndham and Hawthorn were the same establishment. After checking in, my room was by the back entrance I had initially driven past, so I had to drive back again. In short, finding the hotel was very frustrating; a simple heads-up would have solved everything. 2. The front desk staff were unenthusiastic and unfriendly, didn't greet me, and didn't smile. They only answered when asked a direct question. However, the breakfast staff were quite friendly and polite. 3. Room size description: It was described as 70 square meters, but the actual room had one 1.8m bed and one 1m bed. The bathroom was quite large, but even with the balcony, it wasn't 70 square meters. I assume they included a large area outside the door in that measurement. 4. I drove there and reported my license plate to the front desk when checking in. The next day, when I drove out, it showed I had to pay, so I had to call the concierge again. Overall, the management seems a bit chaotic, and the service is lacking.

The hotel environment is excellent, with all private villas offering great privacy. There's a shuttle buggy service available, and each villa has chairs and umbrellas underneath for a relaxing chat. The rooms are very clean, and the hotel service is wonderful and friendly. I'm extremely satisfied.

The hotel address on Ctrip's navigation wasn't even the lobby; the main entrance was closed. We had to go around to the back entrance to ask for directions and find our way in. When I called the front desk, they couldn't clearly explain where to go. I told them I was at the Wyndham, and she said she didn't know where that was. I've never encountered such incompetence. The hotel's hygiene is concerning. The bedding had stains, and even after asking them to change it, the new one had stains in the exact same spots. It made me wonder if they even changed it at all. The bathroom exhaust fan was incredibly loud, like a construction site. And it took a ridiculous minute for the hot water to come on. The shuttle service was a hassle; you had to text or call to arrange it. It rained these past two days, and we had to wait a long time. One time, I went downstairs and happened to catch the shuttle, so we got on. It was pouring rain, and I asked the driver to take us to the charging station, but he refused, saying he had to take other guests. Are we not guests too? He said he had to drop off the guests at the front desk first, and then take us, which would involve a really long detour. But the charging station was only 50 meters further, barely a detour at all. I have no idea what that driver was thinking. I sent clothes for dry cleaning and was told they'd be back by 11 AM the next day. However, by 12 PM the next day, they still hadn't been delivered. We were rushing to catch a flight that afternoon, and this happened.

The service at this Howard Johnson was really great, much better than what I've experienced at other places. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the stay was very comfortable. The room was clean and quite spacious overall, and the price was reasonable. The location is also pretty good.

The cleanliness was top-notch too, with floors, bathroom, and bedding all impeccably clean, even the corners were dust-free. The entire hotel boasts an elegant garden-style design, with lush greenery and plants arranged artfully. The walk from my room to the lobby offered a new scenic view with every step, the green trees and vibrant flowers complemented by distant mountain views created a wonderful ambiance that quickly melted away any travel fatigue. Strolling through the grounds in my free time, feeling the fresh mountain breeze, and escaping the city's hustle and bustle was incredibly refreshing – perfect for anyone who loves peace and quiet and wants to slow down and relax. I took a few unedited photos on my way, and the scenery looked stunning even without filters. This place is perfect whether you're here for a business stopover or a leisure trip to Lijiang. It offers both great value for money and comfort. Definitely a top choice when visiting Lijiang!

I brought my girlfriend here for a trip, and it was unexpectedly good! The hotel environment is great. The front desk staff was very warm and polite. We didn't drive, but they provided car service to our room. The hotel is very large, and the environment is excellent with lots of greenery. The room facilities are complete; both the bed and pillows are quite soft. Whatever you need, you can contact them, and they deliver things very promptly. Next time we visit Lijiang, we'll definitely choose this place again. Highly recommended!

Every time I visit Lijiang, this is the only hotel I choose. Whether it's autumn or spring, you can't go wrong with the Howard Johnson Plaza Lijiang, nestled at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The hotel lobby exit offers stunning views everywhere you look.

The environment here is fantastic! The unique viewing platform offers direct views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Breakfast is also very generous. The lobby manager provided excellent service, was incredibly warm and helpful, and always went the extra mile. Plus, it's great value for money! I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Yunnan.

We booked a family suite apartment for four people with a snow mountain view. The room came with a capsule coffee machine, a fridge, and a microwave. We could easily reach the front desk via WeChat and they were always quick to respond. Thumbs up, I'd recommend it to friends.
