Villa Barranco by Ananay Hotels

We had a very short stay transiting through Lima. Sadly we did not really have time to enjoy the house. The shower was very nice and we had a drink in the rooftop bar. I was given a “boxed” breakfast that consisted of a cheese sandwich and a tangerine!! Not great!! Worse was that I had requested a GF breakfast (I am coeliac) and I am pretty confident this was not provided (there was nothing to identify it as such and coeliacs don’t take risks). So here I am in Lima airport with a tangerine.

We had a very enjoyable 5 day stay at Villa Barranco. It reminds me of a family's private compound - quiet, cozy, personal. Old but updated. Not a generic chain hotel at all. My favorite part: Isaac, who runs the rooftop breakfast area. Every day he made us feel welcome as he shared amazing and delicious Peruvian foods. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you again Isaac, you made our stay truly special.

Lovely boutique hotel in the Barranco neighborhood. A bit hidden away in a great location right next to the Malecon and close to lots of cafes and restaurants. Nicely designed rooms with lots of art. Great breakfast buffet and very friendly and caring staff. I loved my stay there and can highly recommend Villa Barranco. Thanks to Isaac and team!

After 2 months of travel in South America, there could not have been a better choice than this hotel, to finish off with! The whole hotel has a very exclusive feel including the communal areas and our lovely, well finished, room with private terrace. There was a (smallish) safe in the room and a high-end shower room. The hotel includes pleasant small gardens with flowers and shrubs and a roof terrace where breakfast is served. Breakfast was very good quality, with fruit, freshly prepared eggs, nice bread, coffee and much more. Plenty of choice without going over-the-top. Staff were very helpful and attentive to our needs. There is no sign outside, so it took us a while to realise we were in the right place. The location is excellent - close to the waterfront and just a short walk to the bars and restaurants of lively Barranco. An absolutely excellent hotel!

On our recent visit to Lima, we stayed at this wonderful hotel. It is in the beautiful Barranco neighborhood and is just one block from the ocean. Our Junior Suite had a balcony with a view of the ocean where we enjoyed having a glass of wine after our busy days. The room was spacious, with plenty of windows. It is in an old, restored house from the 1920s with beautiful staircases. There is a roof top bar, which was nice to stop in before dinner and talk with other guests. Breakfast was also on a rooftop, and there was a menu to order what you’d like and it was included in the room price. We recommend this property when you visit Lima!

Beautiful boutique hotel with great customer service! Also great location within walking distance of many great sights in the barranco district and steps from the coast. This hotel is beautifully furnished with a mix of traditional and funky things. Breakfast on the rooftop was great and the rooftop bar is also a nice place to sit and unwind. I’m usually a stickler about not having a coffee maker in the room but it was just steps away in the dining room 24hrs a day. The dining room also had a water refill jug. I would stay here again!

Everything stood out! The staff which is the life of any hotel is incredible. Note Issac, Monica, the night team, all the folks at restaurant for breakfast and manager Patricio. Everyone genuinely amazing. The entire hotel is spotless, the room is proper and as clean as can be. Zero complaints. It is a one minute walk to the cliffs over the Pacific and we watched the sunset every single evening-just perfect. The building which is an old summer mansion is stunning. Maximum charm factor. If you want to feel like a Peruvian living in Lima then this is your place. If you like generic American chain hotels with no charm or character then don’t come here!! This place is amazing. The building has decor in and out that captures history and beauty of Lima. Elegance for sure. Breakfast with your room fee is super. Ananda e fresh local fruits which are amazing to a menu which you can order omelettes etc all inclusive. This place presents great value for the price. I will come back without a question. I am a hotel snob and I travel the world-we need this place everywhere we go!! I absolutely recommend it. Again, the people here are all wonderful.

Beautiful boutique hotel. We had a huge beautiful room with very comfortable bed and massive shower. Staff went above and beyond -I fell on uneven cobblestones in town and the hotel purchased crutches and a wheelchair for me. Refused payment, saying it was good to have in case other guests need them (hopefully not!). Everyone was so helpful. Would highly recommend!
