Best Hotels in Lindisfarne, Australia

The hotel is a little road from the city center. The nearest supermarket is 8 minutes drive. The hotel is very beautiful, but the air conditioning is old-fashioned. No one appears in the whole process. The folder that sees your name is very happy. The place where breakfast is used is self-service. Each table has the name of the room, and the name of the room is named after the owner of the previous hotel.

We stayed on the 5th floor facing the main road, however the room was very quiet with no noise whatsoever from traffic or adjacent rooms. The staff were extra helpful. If you paid for breakfast it included both continental and hot food with a very wide selection to suit all dietary requirements. The restaurant specialises in Asian meals. The Capitan's Chicken and Potato Curry was a favorite. The rooms were clean and 100% functional as a maintenance feedback form is left in every room. The blackout curtains stopped all the light for those that like to sleep in or get over jet lag. Security was enhanced by room card access to the lifts. It was a 10 minute walk to everything, a 3 minute walk to the Skybus stop and 5 minute walk to the Hop-on-hop-off stop. Good value and recommended.

Little bit dated. Booked through Qantas Hotels and somehow was upgraded. ( No requested room available? do not know.) Water shower deluge head is great. Plenty of towels washers etc. The body wash and shampoo bottles are squeeze to actuate, sounds simple doesn't it? Mattress very comfy. Pillow a little firm for me but I did have the choice of 5! You get a kettle and that's it. Fridge opens one way, cupboard door opens opposite way. Not user friendly. Mis mash of cups. No knife or fork. Had to book for a couple of nights the next week but was an extra 50 an night. Thought that was a bit unnecessary for a returning client booking the same room. We had two windy nights and the sliding door widows rattling was enough to keep you awake. Need to be wedged. Location to town. Excellent, walking distance.

The Bay Apartments are a good value but simple place to stay in Hobart. We stayed here for 1 night this week, in a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment was clean but small. It had an overpowering smell of cleaning products when we arrived but this dispersed during our stay. The bathroom is a traditional shower-over-bath, and there is a small living area and flat screen TV. There is a small cooktop and sink, and a bar fridge. The apartments are a short walk to a large range of restaurants, a Woolworths and a Cole. There is also a pub (almost) next door. It is a short drive to Hobart CBD and there are public buses out the front. We were apprehensive at first as it was quite noisy (noise from other guests and from the road), but this didn’t affect our sleep quality. There is parking outside the unit and one reverse cycle aircon unit in the living area. Don’t expect a fancy property- this is a basic but well presented unit at an affordable price point, not a $300/nt property. If you set your expectations correctly this is a very good property. The stairways to the upstairs appartments are very narrow and it is difficult to carry large cases up and down. I’d stay here again if looking for a basic stay in Hobart, but probably not for multiple nights.

We stayed in the apartment for 4 nights. As a rest stop during our trip to Tasmania, the attitude of the front desk of the apartment was acceptable. There is an elevator. There is a double bed and a single bed in the room. The kitchen facilities are quite complete, but not Clean, so much so that we went and bought a frying pan ourselves. In terms of cleaning, simply doing it every day is not enough. The apartment has convenient parking and a good location. Everything is within walking distance.

Said to be a shop, specifically a large inn, downstairs is a bar, restaurant, slot machine room. The lobby is right on the side of the bar and restaurant. This shop was remodeled from an old house. There are a total of eleven rooms. On the second floor, open the door with a key, the stairs are up and down, and the key to open the door is the key to your room. The quietness of the accommodation is entirely conscious of the guests. There is only one chain on the door of the room for security measures and no anti-locking. The bathroom is big. Breakfast is a Western-style breakfast, a la carte meal, breakfast tea drink buffet, tea, water, milk, juice. The location of the hotel (inn) is very good, this is the biggest advantage.

When you arrive at the Grand Chancellor you will find a tiny front drive that can fit about 4 cars, where you are supposed to be able to park, check in, and then move your car to their underground parking. However, this front drive is not monitored so when we arrived the driveway was completely full with no one there to direct us anywhere. We drove around the block to enter the underground parking and unloaded our bags which we had to carry up the stairs from the parking garage as there was no guest lift that we could easily find (good luck if you have trouble with stairs). At the bottom of the stairs there is a button that you can supposedly use to call someone to assist with your bags. We tried to use this and though we could hear the bell upstairs, it was not answered (even just to let us know that someone would come), so we gave up and carried our bags up the stairs. Upon arrival to the room, we noticed it was clearly very dated. We could see some effort had been made to update the rooms visually but the installations felt very half-****d. For instance instead of a shower curtain for the bath tub there was a half glass pane that is delightfully too short and instead bounces water off its side and onto the floor. A rainfall showerhead had also been installed but it seemed like an afterthought as it was crooked and had poor water pressure. We then tried to use the pool. Upon entry, I felt like I was taken back in time to the days of dark and damp fitness centers and unmaintained pool floors & furniture. There were no staff nearby and the entire area was a mess. Walking into the locker rooms was a shock with horrible banged up smelly lockers (many of which were open but had no key to lock it!) and awful grey blue shiny tiles that bounce the cold flickering white light around. The shared sauna between male and female locker rooms was also a joke. We left without even bothering to get changed or use the pool. We then attempted to dine at the restaurant in the hotel lobby. The host at the front asked if we had a reservation which we did not. He then looked around at the many empty tables as if he was not sure what to do and then asked us to ”wait outside” as he checked availability. We have never been asked to exit any restaurant whilst they searched for a table (even in much busier restaurants) and we were very frustrated by this request. We waited outside over 5 minutes and then decided to leave and ask the front desk staff for other local restaurant recommendations. As we were on our way out, we noticed the restaurant host was hovering nearby as if he had found us a table and was waiting for us to be done but we left without another look. Upon arriving back in our room after dinner and turning off the lights to sleep, we were graced with the hallway light streaming through the large cracks in the poorly fitted door. Great location - SkyBus from airport costs only 19 aud and drops you just around the corner (instead of 91 aud from airport to city with other means of transportation). Very nice and helpful staff - have a printed list of places and things to do in Hobart. Room - 503 spacious with 2 windows facing some of the harbour and city.

Fabulous room. Large and comfortable with a massive bathroom. Plenty of room to have your toiletries out. Very comfortable bed and pillows. We had a corner room and would request this again on our next stay. Breakfast included in our stay was one the best buffet breakfast we have had. Staff friendly and efficient. No on-site parking but valet parking available. Excellent stay.

Hotel location is good, the view from the window is good. But it is a two-bedroom apartment. In fact, it is not really two rooms. One is a room. The other can only be said to be an upstairs aisle. The two single beds are also small. The price is not very high.
