The hotel is antique and the service is very good. If you stay in the Wang Family Courtyard of this hotel, you don't need to visit other houses. They are really exactly the same. As a descendant of the Wang family, I would like to recommend it conscientiously. If you want to see the courtyard, just stay in this hotel.

If you want to stay in this hotel, you need to have considerable physical strength. You will be out of breath after climbing up. The environment of the hotel is still very beautiful. Just before checking out, I was carrying my suitcase and met two waiters walking over. The threshold was so high, and they didn't even ask if they needed help. They just looked at me and left. The toilet paper in the bathroom was not replaced by the previous guest. It was really unhygienic and a bit disgusting. The overall service level of the waiters still needs to be improved. I really didn't get the service I should have here. I really don't recommend it.

I stayed here ten years ago, and this time I brought my family to experience the splendor of Wangjia Courtyard. The overall atmosphere is very good, the courtyard of the earthen kang room is very comfortable, and the super large earthen kang is especially suitable for families with many children. The room service is responsive and quick. Although it is off-season, it feels very good. The Chinese food in Chongningbao is very good, and the dumplings, fried meat, and steamed buns with buckled meat are all authentic. Especially the knife-cut noodles, the toppings are authentic, and the noodles are chewy, which is great. It happened to be snowing, and taking pictures everywhere is very good! There are many more facilities than ten years ago.

The courtyard house we stayed in this time was really unique, with a big kang in the house, which was novel and unique. Chongning Fort, where the hotel is located, was originally part of the Wang Family Courtyard. Walking through it, you can fully appreciate the quaint beauty of the traditional courtyard, and you can also climb the city wall and look at the scenery of the residential houses at the foot of the mountain in the distance. Before booking on Ctrip, I read a lot of reviews saying that the hotel's service level was poor, and I was worried at first, but this time I stayed, I think the hotel has improved in this regard. The waiters are very polite and the service is very thoughtful. The knife-cut noodles in the hotel's Chinese restaurant are delicious!

A smaller version of Wang's Courtyard, it's right next door, but the layout is similar, and the experience is better than visiting Wang's Courtyard with crowds of people. The architecture is very simple and full of history. I recommend the Siheyuan, each courtyard has a QR code that can be scanned to see the history and owner of the year.
