Almaria - Da Corte Apartments | Chiado

We had a wonderful stay at Almaria.  This hotel was exceptional.  The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well appointed.  The little touches were what set them apart – fresh baked pastries in the morning, little treats left for our kids, supplies in your fridge and plenty of coffee, daily cleaning.   The staff were very friendly and helpful –setting up airport transfer, helped with getting around.   Location was perfect as well.

We had a fantastic time in this apartment/hotel! Joanna at the front desk was the friendliest person you could meet and was so helpful in answering all our questions as newbies in Portugal. We loved the large space so that if someone is sleeping, you can go in the other room to watch tv or make a call. The full kitchen and laundry was excellent and well used. We loved having breakfast in our place and the fresh daily bread was a plus. Decor was all you needed. The location is great as you can walk to most places from here. Uber can pick you up in the front, but you have to put in the address of the business right down the street. Ask the front desk as they know the trick. Otherwise, you can just walk about 2 minutes to the Uber meeting spot. Overall, I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Loved this place. We were traveling with our 15 and 3 year old and our 9 month old baby. We got the 2 bed/2bath deluxe. -Amazing location. Can walk or take public transport everywhere. Get the Lisboa card for transport and entry into many museums. It's worth it -Stocked refrigerator made things so much easier. We were able to make a large breakfast before heading out for the day -They provided us with a baby cot, high chair and baby bath which was great -The people who work here are absolutely amazing -We had an amazing view of the river

This was a little slice of heaven. We got to the hotel early and was able to leave our luggage there. They gave us a great recommendation for where to go for breakfast. When we got back from exploring the city, our room was ready, with our large amount of luggage already in our room. Got a tour of the apartment, which was helpful since I had booked it months before. The 2 bedroom apartment was SPACIOUS!!!! The two bedrooms were nicely appointed and my teen made the chair by the window with curtains her little hideaway to read. We loved that there was breakfast in the fridge ready for us and fresh bread delivered to our door in the morning. We had a hard time figuring out the coffee machine, but was able to get help. It was nice to be able to spread out and have some more space compared to many other places we stayed in Europe. It was a great location. Although on a hill, it was easy to get to tours and for a variety of food options. We appreciated the help with getting a last minute transfer to the airport at a very early hour with road restrictions due to the Pope coming into town. This felt much more like an air bnb than a hotel, but it had the service of a 4 star hotel.

This place is incredible that we booked a two bed/two bath place. The apartment itself is typical of any European apartment (smaller than American ones), the place was more than well fitted. Things that made me give the highest rating are: 1. The rooms are wonderfully comfortable. 2. The rooms had all facilities, including a washer and dryer. They even provide Washing Liquid and Fabric Softener. This was especially useful to us given that the stay here was part of a long trip that we took. 3. The breakfast, every day, was excellent. They stock the fridge with milk, cheese, eggs, Jam, Veggies and more. We could simply make our breakfast every day. The decisive factor is the fresh bread that they deliver every morning at around 8:30 AM. They even delivered Pastel De Nata. Amazing. 4. I can't miss saying a few words about Eduardo, who is the front desk person. Always polite, super helpful, and always available to help even after hours. 5. Location is too good. It is close to the main center, with a few minutes of walking to public transportation, restaurants and more. One can't go wrong with this place. Just choose it!

I cannot recommend this place enough. Beautifully decorated and so well equipped. Felt really at home and the staff were lovely. The fridge was freshly stocked daily and the bread and pastries delivered each morning were unreal!! If you stay here I recommend Bono and By The Wine which are very close by for food and drinks.

Great place to stay. Close to everything you need including some nice shopping. Delicious fresh breakfast delivered to the room.

There was a very helpful concierge at the front every day from 9 am to 6 pm. After hours Pedro answered via WhatsApp, very efficient and helpful. The apartment was beautiful, everything from the daily breakfast down to the toiletries provided (Benamor) were top notch and added to our true Lisbon experience. We also decided to stay an extra night because we loved it so much and they were able to accommodate, hassle free and quickly. We loved it all, location was perfect, access was easy and near all the major happening spots. Bonus was it was so quiet at night time and the beds were so comfy we did not want to leave! Thank you to all for the wonderful service and experience.

This was our first time in Portugal. We appreciated the lovely space this apartment offered, paired with the friendly and helpful concierge service. We enjoyed having breakfast before leaving for the day. The fridge was stocked with meats, cheeses, fruits, yogurt and specifically included gluten and dairy free items for me. Fresh pastries were delivered each morning which my husband loved- thank you for your attention to our comfort!
