Next time I will go to Lisbon, I would love to stay here again. I really enjoyed service that they were providing. Very easy to communicate any time any days. It was really good experience

Easy code access. It's better to download the Numa app to open everything from your phone instead of constantly entering codes for the entrance, elevator, and room. There's a laundry room with dryers (laundry detergent is provided), where you can also restock tea, coffee, and milk. A luggage room is available until 8 PM on the day of departure. Excellent mattress, pillows, and bedding. Modern furniture, a well-equipped kitchen (no dishwasher). The bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, body lotion, and a hairdryer. Several bus stops are nearby, and the metro is a 3-minute walk away. Rossio Square is about a 20-minute walk. For stays longer than a week, there's a full cleaning; otherwise, daily trash removal and bed making. Excellent Wi-Fi. The air conditioning is comfortable and well-placed, not blowing directly on your head at night. The team quickly resolves issues via WhatsApp. Absolutely loved everything. It would be completely ideal if there were a shower and luggage scales for guests departing after check-out.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was comfortable, cozy, and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The location was also great, with a nice and convenient neighborhood around it. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. We would happily stay here again!

The room is well designed and spacious. The shower is particularly good in terms of what we found at similarly priced Portuguese hotels. There is not gym in the actual building but the free pass you get to go to the gym is actually to a luxury health lounge and it has a Turkish bath, spa, gym, and pool so that is well worth it. The only downside is that it is a 15 min walk to this facility. The check in was smooth despite it being self check-in. Cleaning was a bit confusing as it seemed our beds were made but nothing was actually cleaned in terms of the bathroom/changing towels, but since it was just three nights, there wasn’t really an issue.

Room size and amenities are excellent. There is some drainage smell in the bathroom during my stay but the water pressure and temperature offset that part. It's important to have a nice shower and hair wash in Lisbon summer after going out everyday. The little kitchen and dining table is absolutely value-added. Location is fair though you could still walk to the city centre in 25 mins if you don't want to pay for transport Lots of breakfast options in the surrounding. During my 4-night stay, we came across with fire alarm in the midnight at 3am ish. Everybody went down stairs to find out what happened. As everything is digitalised, no guest is able to speak to a real person staff to find out what happened as the fire alarm keeps ringing for over 20 mins. The emergency sign along the stairs is not clear enough. We didn't know we by-passed ground floor already so we kept going down until we reached the car park which is 2 floors down the ground floor, ie. Basement. We had to go up again inside the car park and found the exit to the ground floor. Imagine if a fire takes place and it gets lots of smoke around, it's could be life threatening in such a situation. Some of the residents retrieved the booking confirmation email and found the emergency contact which led us to contact the property via WhatsApp and saying someone will be on site to find out what happened and whether it's safe to re-enter the building again. We got automated email asking us not to enter the building until it's clear what happened In about 30 mins, a guy from the fire alarm company arrived and turned the alarm off. He explained one of the rooms triggered that alarm. But the guest staying in the room was with the main group on scene and said she was sleeping when the alarm rang! No cooking or smoking inside the room at all. That guy re-assured it's safe to re-enter the building so it was about 4am when we back to our room. We couldn't sleep again given adter running up and down. So this is how it goes. The hardware of the room is perfect but if you want real person support at the time when tou needed it most, I'm not sure if that's your choice.

Serious safety and service failures at Numa Anjos Lisbon, and a broader pattern of unresponsiveness from your digital support during the stay. In the early hours of 25 June, a fire alarm was triggered at the property. The alarm sounded for over 30 minutes. My group and other guests evacuated the building and gathered outside. I understand that Numa operates as an unstaffed, digital-first property — that is the model we booked, and I am not complaining about the absence of on-site staff itself. My complaint is that the digital support which is supposed to replace on-site staff, and which Numa advertises as available 24/7 across the website, the Trip.com listing/booking confirmation, the in-room welcome guide, and the app/check-in instructions, was completely unreachable during an actual emergency! During the alarm and evacuation, WhatsApp — the primary digital contact channel — received no response whatsoever. No one from Numa made contact through any digital channel while the situation was unfolding. Several guests called emergency services directly because there was no way to reach Numa. No fire authority or emergency personnel arrived on site during this period either. They claimed to have security check the property and coordinating with authorities during the absence of active support - we saw no single soul present. We wonder how they checked the safety? The alarm went off itself and guests just went back in without hesitation. The first communication we received from Numa was an email sent around 3:20am — hours after the alarm, and well after the situation had already resolved itself on its own, with zero digital support from your team at any point during the actual emergency!! They said they sent both SMS and email. This is the biggest failure of security protocol - some guests sleep with their phones in silent mode, or switched off or with ear-plugs on like us. Luckily my partner heard the alarm and able to wake me up in time for the evacuation! This was not an isolated incident. It is consistent with a pattern of unreliable response times from your team throughout this stay: • When we requested a room change due to a noise issue (even though requested at the time of booking but told it is automatic assignment), WhatsApp told us an agent would reach out within approximately 15–20 minutes. The actual response came roughly 2 hours later. • When we reported an air conditioning issue of a new room, it similarly took longer to receive any response. And later they accessed our room unannounced even though I asked specifically for the time of check up. Taken together with the fire alarm incident, this shows that the 24/7 digital support Numa advertises does not function as promised, even for routine requests, let alone emergencies. The fire alarm is simply the most serious example of a problem that recurred throughout our stay!! The core issues are: 1. Total unresponsiveness on WhatsApp during a 30+ minute active fire alarm and evacuation. 2. No digital contact or guidance of any kind while the emergency was happening 3. No coordination with or follow-up from emergency authorities, despite guests calling them directly. (it seems their alarm is not linked to authorities?) 4. A delayed, after-the-fact email as the only acknowledgment of the fire alarm — sent only once the situation had already resolved. 5. A direct contradiction between the “24/7 guest support” promised at every booking touchpoint and the repeated, significant delays we experienced for the room change request, the air conditioning issue, and most critically, the fire alarm emergency. For a property built entirely around remote/digital guest support replacing on-site staff, this is not a minor service lapse — it is a recurring failure of the core mechanism guests are told to rely on, with the fire alarm being the point where that failure became a genuine safety issue.

The hotel itself is quite nice, centrally located, and the facilities are relatively new. However, it is completely digitalized with no human staff on-site. Also, breakfast is not served at the hotel, but at a breakfast spot about 400 to 500 meters' walk away.

spacious, aesthetic, and perfect for a solo trip, but a few things to note. The room itself is gorgeous. It has this modern boho/woody vibe with warm tones, sage walls, hints of gold, and lots of natural light from the balcony. Waking up here was honestly such a nice experience. The balcony is a big plus too, although the furniture is quite basic and could be upgraded. Layout-wise, everything made sense (especially the TV directly facing the bed — finally!). However, the TV connection was quite slow and frustrating, so I ended up just using my phone. Location is good if you don’t mind walking — around 20–30 minutes into central Lisbon. There are loads of cafés nearby though, which was super convenient. I highly recommend Fauna & Flora (Anjos) for brunch — really cute spot and great food. They take walk-ins :) Only thing I didn’t love was the PIN entry system. You have to type it multiple times (enter building, going up the lift, enter room) and it’s very visible, which made me a bit uneasy as a solo traveller. It's super easy though !! The mini fridge was also super minimally stocked, so don’t rely on it. On the plus side, tea/coffee facilities, toiletries, and plenty of towels are provided. The apartment itself is very quiet and peaceful — I barely heard anyone else, which made it feel like my own private space. Barely saw anyone, felt like I had the place to myself. Overall: a comfortable and stylish stay with great nearby cafés. A few small improvements would make it perfect, but I would definitely stay again.

This is more of a self-service serviced apartment than a traditional hotel, but the room is very nice. Particularly liked the amenities and the convenience of the app, which lets you access everything, including the main entrance, elevator, and room. The complimentary gym access is a fantastic perk—the gym is huge, with a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and Jacuzzi. Overall, I had a very good stay. As long as you expect a self-service experience, there’s a lot to enjoy. I felt the better amenities and overall quality of the stay made the self-service approach worthwhile. I would happily stay here again when visiting Lisbon, and I’ll also look out for this brand in other cities.
