An amazing stay in a beautiful hotel. The relaxing atmosphere was perfect after a busy day exploring. Can’t thank the staff enough for their excellent service! The breakfast was generous and delicious.

This hotel should not be rated as 5 stars. Ctrip is definitely misleading! ! ! Almost 3 stars for grade and 4 stars for service. There are no stars for this hotel on ***********. It can only be regarded as a boutique hotel.
The room is indeed quite large and beautifully decorated, full of palace style. However, the main entrance of the hotel is on a hillside. You need to walk up the steps and pass by a row of trash cans. (Picture 1-3) Then, there is no elevator in the hotel. You have to take the stairs. There are only about 6 or 7 suites in the entire hotel. It is very small and does not have facilities such as gym and swimming pool.
The service is very good. The waiter will help carry your luggage to your room. Breakfast is also prepared by the waiter, one for each person. It includes freshly squeezed juice of the day, a variety of bread, cheese, ham, eggs and yogurt. It is quite exquisite. , you can refill if you don’t have enough, but it’s not like a big hotel buffet.
In general, it is not up to 5-star standards. If you are looking forward to the supporting facilities and facilities of a 5-star hotel like us, you must not choose this hotel. If you want to experience a palace-style room, you can choose it.

This is not like any hotel I have ever stayed at. This was more like going home and visiting family. Tiago and Chevier (probably spelled wrong) went out of their way to take care of us. We traveled far and were exhausted when we arrived before 10am. They quickly offered us breakfast while we waited for our room to be cleaned. They granted us entry to the room quickly. This is an older large home converted to a hotel with rooms. We stayed on the 3rd floor in the front facing suite. It was comfortable and had every amenity possible. I would stay here again and again. The breakfast was amazing and fresh juice and pastries can’t be beat. Breakfast on the terrace was like being in a movie. I chose the ride from the airport to the hotel by the driver service that they offered as I have read other drivers have had trouble finding it. It was a great experience all the way around.

A stunning unusual historic quirky masterpiece of a hotel. The service provided by the staff was uncommon and outstanding, never had such concerned and helpful staff in a hotel. The included breakfast was phenomenal. Really the best that Lisbon has to offer. the Alfama neighborhood is the perfect location. But be prepared for a walking and climbing and walking and climbing, and walking and climbing.
