Hoburne Doublebois

Lovely weekend over christmas in a Premier caravan was so clean and nicely furnished. Hot tub was huge, well maintained every day. Friendly site staff. You need a car as it's quite remote, but so peaceful. Games room looked great, even though we didnt use it. Highly recommend.

As always a lovely break, suits us as we enjoy a quieter holiday that also has decent facilities for dogs. Walking path through the woods is good exercise as very hilly. This site is perfect for couples or friends without children, as the facilities for kids who need on site entertainment are not there. Bodmin moor, is very near, and Dartmoor is an easy day trip.

We visited Hoburne Doublebois in the half term holiday and managed to get a fabulous last minute deal. Not knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at our lodge. It was spotlessly clean, modern and a great size. We stayed in one of the cheaper lodges (Eagle) but it was perfect for us. Staff were friendly and polite. The site is in a great location and we were able to drive to our favourite towns. We enjoyed our stay so much that we've booked to visit again in May. Thank you.

This place was heaven. We needed a quiet family break and this was perfect. we came October half term Fri to Monday (3nights) we collected our keys from reception and they were really helpful with information in the local areas. When we arrived at our Deluxe 3 bedroom lodge with hot tub we were in love. Lovely green areas all surrounding. The lodge was spot on. so spacious. Very well thought out with all the amenities. Towels ,soap, starter set for kitchen with a sponge cloth dishwasher tablets ,Mini washing up liquid tea coffee sugar. Storage was perfect drawers hangers in wardrobes. Bath mats.iron ironing board,and a couple of Airers for your clothes.garden table and chairs outside on decking and even stored away was an umbrella for the sunny days. Everything was working how it should be well stocked kitchen with all sorts of pans dishes utensils etc. The hot tub was amazing we used it day and night. We think the lodge just needs some permanent instructions somewhere to use the hot tub information like lid removal . How to change temperature etc. our opinions mattresses were on the firm side but others may prefer this. Would definitely come back.

Lovely quiet holiday park, staff were so welcoming and helpful, we stayed in a deluxe lodge with a hot tub and the lodge was like new! So clean with every thing you need, the washing machine and dishwasher was a bonus! There is an enclosed garden for dogs to run which is great. The grounds are so well kept, an ideal base for exploring Cornwall. We will definitely be back!

We stayed in the 3 bedroom falcon lodge with a hot tub. The lodge was very clean, spacious and the shared car park wasn’t a far walk to the lodge, made carrying luggage a lot easier! All in all a great week away, however two small complaints; the temperature on the hot tub is already set for you, meaning it cannot be changed. The first time we used it, was far too hot (temperature was set at 39°), I couldn’t stay in for longer than 5 minutes, not enjoyable. However the second time we used it the temperature had dropped to 30°, again wasn’t pleasant. Not sure why there was a drastic change in the temperature, it was frustrating we couldn’t change it ourselves, which meant we spent less time in the hot tub than we anticipated. Secondly, it would have been nice to be informed about maintenance checking the hot tub every morning, gave me a fright seeing someone on our private decking, first thing in the morning without warning. Besides from those two, it was a lovely holiday, and would definitely go back.
