"This is our second visit to The Hole in the Wall Pub. Visited last month and had a great meal. We decided to come again to see if the standard was the same. It was! Plus, it was the new Autumn Menu, so the three of us had different dishes to choose from. We ate in the snug for both meals, which had a friendly, cosy feel to it that added to the occasion. We were welcomed by a member of the staff, who remembered us from last time, which was a nice touch. Staff were very attentive and provided everything we ordered to a high standard, both the food and the presentation. Ordered slow braised Gressingham duck leg confit, Chef Special braised short rib beef, and I had the homemade lamb curry, pilaf rice, mango chutney, poppadum, and onion bhaji. We were all pleasantly full, had a few minutes rest before I ate the homemade treacle tart and ice cream. Chef came and chatted, and was pleased to see we had come a second time to taste his food. Food so good we have booked a Sunday Lunch later this month."

"Just stayed one night whilst visiting nearby Cambridge. Had very comfortable room with lovely bed and quirky en suite wet room. Although room faced the road we didn't experience any noise disturbance. Had dinner and breakfast and can't fault the food. Decent menu choice and service provided by very friendly staff throughout our visit. Great location for visiting Cambridge with Park and Ride site about 10 minutes drive away. Would highly recommend."

"I had a very pleasant stay. The location is excellent just a short walk from the train station and within easy reach of the city centre and riverside areas. The hostel was clean, well organised, and felt safe throughout my stay. My room was simple but comfortable, with clean bedding and sufficient storage space. The shared bathrooms were well maintained and regularly cleaned. The staff were friendly, professional, and happy to help with directions and local tips, which made settling in very easy. I also appreciated the communal areas, which were relaxed and suitable for catch up with other travellers or just unwinding after a day of sightseeing. Overall, this hostel offers very good value for money and is a great choice for budget-conscious travellers visiting the city."
