The space Conveniently located on US-31, heading out for exploring northern Michigan couldn't be easier. - Petoskey Downtown (10 minutes away) - Harbor Springs Downtown (12 minutes away) - the Mighty Mackinac Bridge (30 miles north) - ferry service to Mackinac Island (28 miles north) - public boat launch (2 miles down the road) - Nub's Nob Ski Resort (9 miles away) - Boyne Highlands Ski Resort (9.6 miles away) - North Western State Trail connecting Petoskey to Mackinaw City (across the street!). Getting around The Cottage is ideally located for those wanting to explore the area by boat, kayak, paddle board, paddleboat, bike, ski, snowmobile, or snowshoe.
