Maldron Hotel Liverpool City Centre

Located in a fab location! Room was super spacious and extremely clean! Great selection of teas and coffees in room too. Very happy.

Room 514, great view of the Docks, nice, clean room. Not the biggest but big enough for 2 adults and 1 child. Nice bathroom with big shower. Breakfast was decent

Our stay here was perfect from start to finish. Perfect location- parking is a short walk away at a park John Lewis. The staff are so welcoming and the rooms and so clean and tidy. Can’t wait to visit again

Stay was decent, stand out was April on front desk who made me feel very welcome after a long travel day!!

Room exceptionally basic, no dressing table or draws in the room, expected at this standard. There was a table, but only 1 chair for double room! Some issues shower had an awful smell, like drainage issue, toilet roll holder was loose and we had to wash the glasses as they were dirty. Breakfast was good, could be better, no poached eggs, black pudding or fried bread. Expected better having stayed at the Glasgow establishment.

We had a very pleasant weekend at this hotel. The location was excellent - it was between the docks and the city centre. Not so close to the centre that we would be walking out to a busy street, but not so far that we would struggle to walk to nearby food and nightlife spots. The hotel itself was very clean. The ONLY downside was that the room didn't have a mini-fridge, which I would expect from a 4-star. But the hotel were happy to store some items in their fridge, and ice was available downstairs if we required it. Again, not a big deal, but it was just unexpected. Overall, we were happy with the booking and would definitely book again the next time we visit Liverpool.

This hotel was excellent! Ideally situated for the M and S Arena, the Albert Dock and Liverpool 1 shopping area. It is literally 15 mins walk from Lime Street Station. Check in was done online and key was ready to collect via a machine in the foyer. I'm not 100% keen on this as I do like the personal contact with the reception. Had to go there to ask for breakfast details so in future would probably just check in there anyhow, but the option is there if you prefer that. The room on the 4th floor was really nice, clean and comfortable. Slight grumbles were regarding the bed being a bid hard and the small shelf, rather than a table in front of the mirror. Breakfasts were excellent, a very wide range of good quality choices. The lounge and dining areas were very clean, modern and well designed. All staff were very pleasant. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Liverpool. It was excellent value in comparison to others we have visited in the city in the past. Will definitely be back! Thought the room was lovely, bathroom & beds were lovely. But let down by room service. Was told at the bar to order by QR code on the menus, which we had to get from the bar. However the QR only told us the contents of the food but NOWAY to order it other than going back to the bar.
