Hi, recently found trip.com and have been using quite a lot in the last few weeks and had been very impressed.
However our rent experience not so.
We booked hotel and train through Trip.com to Liverpool for our 27th Wedding Anniversary. Arrived at Ibis Hotel at Albert Docks booking ref **************** and was told the booking had been cancelled!!
We had tried to move booking a day forward but was instructed that no response was received so the date we booked still stood and there was no cancellation allowed. Eventually after a long wait they found us at room. However booking was for a Family Room in a quiet room and have end up was a standard double next to corridor entry door which is very noisy especially as it adjacent to building work which is also noisy!!
The room itself no desk as it’s been removed for near window so having to use kettle next to bedside which isn’t safe ! No hair drier in room, no iron in room. Not a great experience for our Anniversary.

Staff are nice and friendly. But the washroom is a bit dirty that I found former toothpaste mark on the basin.

I found the room to be clean and comfortable, perfect for relaxation. However, the staff could be friendlier and more attentive to enhance the experience. Additionally, offering more amenities, like in-room coffee makers, would elevate the stay. A pleasant visit overall!

Location is superb if you are visiting Albert Dock and the Beetles shop nearby. Also it is close enough to go to John Lewis and other shops/ restaurants. Would recommend this accommodation for those who could occupy on his/her own.

Hotel great location to docks. 10 minute walk into Liverpool city centre. Only little thing was no hand towels just bath sheets would recommend
