The location is great. There are many restaurants nearby, and you’re across the road from the large New Mersey Retail Park. The room was clean. The staff was very accommodating. I was a bit disappointed that there wasn’t air conditioning, as it was quite warm inside, but they provided a fan upon request.

I had a disappointing stay at this hotel and would not recommend it based on my experience. First, the heating in the room was not working. Although a small portable heater was provided, it was not effective enough to keep the room warm, making the stay quite uncomfortable. The room itself felt outdated and poorly maintained. It was very dim, with no ceiling light—only several lamps that did not provide sufficient brightness. Additionally, the electrical appliances appeared old and in need of replacement. There was also a noticeable smell in the room, which made the environment feel unclean. This concern was further reinforced when we were given only one key card, while another card was already inserted in the power slot. This made us question whether the room had been properly cleaned or if it had just been vacated by previous guests. I requested a room change, but it was denied on the grounds that the hotel was fully booked. However, shortly after, I noticed another couple checking in, and the same room type was still available for booking online. This inconsistency was frustrating and disappointing. Lastly, the soundproofing was poor. We could clearly hear people talking outside around midnight, which disturbed our rest. Overall, the stay did not meet expectations due to multiple issues with comfort, cleanliness, and service.

We stayed at this hotel on 29th Aug for 2 nights. On Sunday 30th we woke up to find we had no water due to a leak so had to go to the David Lloyd fitness centre next door to get a shower, which made us late for the christening we were attending. The leak meant the restaurant was shut, and there were limited drinks available in the bar. To make matters worse I have contacted the hotel management and their HQ in an attempt to get some compensation, and have had no response. Also the housekeeping was poor; there were dirty dishes from room service in the corridors outside the rooms, some with breakfast food on them - we didn't check in until 5.30pm so they were left there all day. Needless to say we won't be staying there again; we had stayed there several times before...a loyal customer now lost .

Fair hotel, but a few minor problems in the room (eg lights & AC not working, shower leaking slightly). However, friendly staff and more than adequate for a night's rest.

Hotel was lovely really clean staff was nice. Breakfast was poor didn't keep it topped up with food then charged us£35 for a ABIT of pastry and hash brown and scrambled egg. Should of gone McDonald's over road. Apart from breakfast I can't knock it. Will stay again but not have breakfast

There are many bugs and insects in our room. We asked a request to change our room but they said “we are fully booked”. The total experience is disguisting.

Staff extremely helpful even sorting out an issue with our booking but dealt with in a calm and pleasant way. The room was extremely comfortable and clean.

Basic room but a good location. We were visiting Allerton Manor so it was convenient and just a short drive. Close to the airport and the retail park facing with lots of shops, restaurants and cinema. There were some issues with a leak on our floor but luckily it wasn’t near our room. The air conditioning didn’t work so we had to open a window. There were two portable heaters in the room too as the air conditioning wasn’t working.
