My Two-Night Stay at Phoenix Hotel Liverpool: Central City Experience Just wrapped up a fantastic two-night stay at Phoenix Hotel Liverpool and wanted to share my thoughts! At £126.90 plus a small £4.80 property fee, it offered excellent value for a city center experience. The location at 46-48 Foley Street puts you right in the heart of Liverpool, which was perfect for my mini-break. Being centrally located meant I could easily walk to major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas without relying on transportation. The vibrant city atmosphere was right on my doorstep! I stayed from **Thursday, August 7 to Saturday, August 9, 2025** — a perfect two-night city escape. Check-in after 3 PM was smooth and welcoming, and the 11 AM check-out time was standard and convenient. The staff were helpful and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The hotel itself (which I could see in the booking thumbnail) had a classic Liverpool charm about it. My room was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials I needed for a pleasant stay. While not ultra-luxurious, it was well-maintained and provided a cozy base for exploring the city. What I appreciated was the **transparent pricing** — I knew exactly what I was paying upfront (£126.90) and what I'd need to pay at the property (just £4.80). The Trip.com booking process was straightforward, and having their price match and stay guarantee gave me extra confidence in my booking. The app's "Message Property" and "Call Property" features came in handy when I needed some local recommendations. The "Manage Booking" function made it easy to keep all my travel details organized in one place. Is it a five-star luxury hotel? No, but it doesn't claim to be. Phoenix Hotel Liverpool delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable, well-located place to stay at a reasonable price point that lets you experience the best of Liverpool without breaking the bank. **Would I recommend it?** Absolutely! If you're looking for a centrally located hotel in Liverpool with good amenities and friendly service, this place ticks all the boxes. Perfect for weekend city breaks, concert-goers, or anyone wanting to soak up Liverpool's vibrant atmosphere.

Booked a deluxe room, got given an accessible room facing the back with jail bars outside the windows. Toilet had no cover, floor creaky. While on the toilet and with the door lock turned, someone opened the room door and tried to get in. Scary experience.

Starting with the positives: Breakfast and Breakfast staff were lovely. There is lots on offer, its basic unless you eat meat then you’ve got some toasties and bagels for you but overall we’re happy with breakfast Location: We stayed for the football and is in walking distance of anfield. Negatives: Room is rundown, but again we stayed for the football so we weren’t expecting the ritz. The room above us pipes leaked whenever they had a shower, resulting in water raining from the ceiling. Our phones were on charge underneath and though phones are fine we had to bin the chargers. We told a member of staff however as the hotel was fully booked we couldn’t be moved- again we understand this as a match day. But we weren’t told this we were just left with it and a bunch of towel. When raised a complaint the next day the manager wasn’t in so I was told to email. I emailed but also gave my phone number and email for the manager to contact me. It has been three weeks and I’m yet to hear anything I also paid over the phone for my stay on the Friday night and has for some reason been charged double but this is being disputed with bank currently. Parking is okay but if you have a big car or a nice car I would recommend finding parking near by with a parking driveway app instead, a lot more secure. Views- we had to keep our curtains shut the whole time as our room overlooked the bar and had punters drinking sat in front of our window so we had to keep them shut. Overall if you need an easy location for the football it is alright but there are better options elsewhere

Very well priced hotel in Kirkdale district, easy access to The Hill Dickinson Stadium, about 1 mile walk away, plenty of amenities nearby, free parking at front and behind the building, which was great. Lady I met on arrival was very pleasant and helpful, as were all the staff I dealt with. It is a Pub/Hotel . Seating in and outside, had a drink in the bar, reasonable prices and nice atmosphere. My room was on second floor, really smart, nice carpet, very modern furnishings and same in the bathroom, shower great, everywhere clean inc the bed, was a little too firm for me but that is a minor gripe, tea coffee making facilities, did get a bit noisy as guests arrived back from wherever? But during the night there was no noise hardly from outside. I didn't eat here so can't comment, but like everything else I'd bet it would be good! Also access to City centre is a doddle, buses or a taxi. Summing up it's a cracking place, if you're an Everton fan and fancy a nice stop over before going to the game it's ideal. I shall return.

My partner and I stayed here recently to go to a Liverpool game at Anfield. The location was perfect, about a 10 min walk to the stadium and no more than 10 min in Uber to the town (about £7/8). We made use of the hotel bar, the staff were all helpful and friendly. Our room was clean, with kettle, tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom had shower gels, shampoos and conditioner. It was my partners birthday and I’d messaged ahead to ask for some drink in the room, they made the room look lovely. The rooms are fairly basic but for what you pay it’s good value. We’d definitely stay again!

Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere, rooms are clean and a good size. A great location for visiting Anfield for a match, just a 5/10 minute walk to the stadium. Will definitely be back again.
